>>9230547>How to get started with 3d Printing?Buy a 3d printer and materials (in your case SLA printer is the best solution for miniature printing)
I personally use Anycubic Photon S, best bang for the buck so far
>How does it work?SLA printers cure UV sensitive resin layer by layer, speed and detail amount depends on layer thickness, though handling the resin is really nasty (you have to literally peel your model off the build plate and rinse it in isopropyl alcohol to wash off remaining excess of resin afterwards, not to mention the stuff smells offensive)
Average XY precision is around 47 μm, Z layer thickness ranges from 100 to 25 μm
The resin is expensive though, prices start at $60-70 per liter
>>What do I need program wise?literally any modelling software for making models, software called silcers for making models printable
i personally use chitubox64, it's simple enough to use, though its automatic support generation is shite
>>Any good tutorials?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbYAhjASGFYThis vid made me kinda understand how to prepare models for printing and how to set supports properly, it also explains how different 3d print technologies work
