By then, coleco had lost faith in establishing an original IP and shifted their focus to Rambo and the forces of freedom. In retrospect, it's thought that sectaurs collapsed due to going up against an overwhelmingly competitive market. This was around 85/86 afterall. Conceivably every niche that could have been captitalized on in toy stores, had already been claimed. MOTU over took Star Wars, Transformers conquered the robot market, and GI Joe was unstoppable. In addition to bad odds, it's also been suggested that the sectaurs scale prevented them from finding any success as the only other line they meshed well with was rambo. Too big to battle MOTU, Joes, or Transformers.
