>>9137862Sure the Disney sequels made money. You can paste Star Wars on a TERD and it'll sell! The point a lot of original trilogy fans are making is that the quality of the Disney movies are SHITE! Okay first off, George Lucas created this legacy to be focused on the Skywalker family. It's dysfunction, insanity, and all. The prequels were a bit off as far as the "stalker" Anakin and the idiotic Jar Jar. BUT the tone and the heart was still there! That and the payoff of seeing Anakin turn into Vader at the end of Ep.III was the ultimate payoff!
Now my point about Disney's sequels. 1)They took the beloved hero of the franchise and turned him into a sniveling little coward. Also he almost killed his nephew in his sleep! This coming from a hero who faced Vader ALONE, in Empire, then Vader AND the Sith Master Emperor Palpatine in Jedi, but becomes TERRIFIED of a 10 year old's power? Really? So much so that this guy who would die for his friends and family would KILL his Sister and Best friend's son in his sleep?!?! Which BTW is like Anakin killing the young jedi in Ep.III! That's just the beginning! Add to that the MORONIC idea that using a feminist agenda to fuel a iconic franchise was a good idea? Whoops! For one, Star Wars has a ICONIC female empowerment character! Princess Leia! She was strong, powerful, beautiful, fought for everything, and never took crap from anyone. Also she stood eye to eye with Han Solo and never blinked. She even called Chewie a walking carpet! But Leia was loved! She was a woman girls loved and wanted to be! Rey? She is an idealistic fantasy of a person that couldn't possibly exist! Add to that she is as entertaining as watching cars rust, she was crap as a "hero"! Also using every female character to belittle and emasculate every male character in the Star Wars universe was just one more slap in the face! Kathleen Kennedy pushed her agenda, pushed her "Narrative" the Force is Female crap, and it killed Star Wars!
