>>9144422I never preorder figures, but since most of the Crossover figs seem like they're pretty hard to get after they sell out I'd rather get it while I can. Also it's not like I have to pay until the thing actually starts shipping out, and I can just cancel if I change my mind between now and November. There's probably gonna be a review or two before then anyway for me to better form an opinion
>>9144434Like I said- not a huge JP fan so the head looks alright to me, and I agree, that subtle gradient on the T.Rex mode does wonders for that mold, those colors are very nice. I wish there was more done for the robot mode, as the chest feels very Megatron-y, but new head looks nice and entirely new figure is enough I guess
>Idk if the explorer autobot even "needs" to get retooled into anything elsei mean, nothing really "needs" to get remolded into anything else, does it? besides maybe characters that are already remolds of each other. But an entirely new carbot mold seems like a big thing to only use for one crossover exclusive, and it would be nice for it to be made more available in the mainline with a retool. Something about the proportions just click with me, I really like the long legs. I really think it would make a great Red Alert
Then again I'm still waiting for the Maverick mold to get redone in good colors, it seems like a decent budget Valkyrie and a no-brainer Cyberjet retool, it's just a shame that the only release is completely brought down by terrible grey plastic and ""weathering""
