Yeah, me too.
Also, you know how King Hiss is really skinny because of his shell? What if you had a figure along those lines that was 5 POA in full armor and the helmet, cuirass, arm and leg shells came off to reveal a Teela-size figure with full articulation in just the hip armor and a bikini top?

So the newest goojitzu wave started making its way into stotes and I was watching reviews of them. Crusticoid (pic related) feels like a perfect addition to the horde, down to his action feature. He also has plastic feet so he can stand and display well, anyways I thought I'd share.

They really stepped up over the last two waves. The additions of various gimmicks and action features really spiced things up. I'd say the dino guys are pretty solid purchases too. They all have street sharks esc chomping action features. The x-ray wave had gitd skeletons.

It looked like Mattel's plan was to show off everyone from up to a certain point in the figure line (maybe 1982-5 minus Horde) by the first big battle and order the animation team to give most characters a post-timeskip redesign, so they can sell almost twice as many figures.
Of course that's not going to happen if the show doesn't make fans because it's a woke subversion of your parents' childhood heroes-- geez, how did Mattel's business plan not take Star Wars into account?

What? Buzzcut Teeldak is getting two toys at least. The Masterverse toy is marketed as "Teela (modern version)" and the Eternia mini is called "Mercenary Teela". Sounds to me like two different ways of saying post-time skip Teela

I'm hoping it would be some relief since we're gonna be on a long Revelation Ride for a while. Would be nice if stores include a new wave of stuff during the reset. A lot of Target stores never bothered with wave 5 Origins assortment though which is the most absolutely frustrating thing unless you constantly eyed amazon or preordered a year in advance.

At the start of the month, I was hyped and feeling positive for all the new stuff I was anticipating this month

But the comic sucked, that and trailers and interviews from last week killed my hype for the show and that in turn has killed my interest in even looking for Skelegod

The hope that Mosquitors and Wind Raiders will arrive before the end of the month is basically all I've got to look forward to.

When developing the MotU movie, Gary Goddard hired Ralph "Star Wars" McQuarrie to design the cast.
He-Man, Man-At-Arms and Teela were much more faithful to the 1982 toys at this stage. Gwildor could have been a robot or... an antisemitic stereotype soldier?

It depends on their filling. The kinetic sand filled ones stand the best. But they droop overtime as gravity pulls down their filling. They're very much kids toys, but crusticoid stands apart for the simple fact that he's such a departure from the rest of the toylines' offerings.

Snake Mountain is a dungeon so big that a party can clear out a level to make their home and still be uncovering new secrets years later (pic related).
Castle Grayskull is a smaller high-level dungeon.

Tri-Klops, Fisto, Jitsu and Clamp Champ are male Human Fighters who found different magic/tech items.
Teela is a female Human Fighter.
Saurod is a Dragonborn Fighter with lightning breath.
Extendar is functionally a robot Fighter, as are Roboto and Blast Attak.
He-Man and She-Ra are Human Paladins, who don't wear armor in this setting (mostly).
Man-At-Arms is an artificer.
The Sorceress and Evil-Lyn are Human Mages.
Skeletor is a Dark Elf Mage -> Lich.
Trollans are a Black Mage species.
Ninjor has the ninja class, duh.

The pegs on my Skelegod neck and wrists are virtually the same as the Origins line, moreso than classics. If the same is true for the other figures, you can put whatever fuckin head you want on that Skeletor, because the Origins proportions are just about there.

I'm still hopeful for that show, because Jeff Matsuda is involved.
This will be like He-man's "The Batman" (also matsuda)
Weird, wtf design choices like rasta Joker, goth Riddler, big red Bane...but somehow still a good cartoon. So I'm optimistic that it will at least not suck. But time will tell.

Right off the bat I snapped one of the replacements in half using too much pressure getting it through the crotch. I think that the paracord internal thread was too much for the rubber, and it split right in half. I eventually got the second band through, and got Faker re-banded.

The cancelled Advent Calendar shows us where the current design team's heart is:
What they've already done, Snake Mountain and the vintage vehicles Landshark, Attack Track, Sypdor, Fright Fighter and Dragon Walker.
None of those vehicles are very big, so if MotU was as popular as Halo, I'm sure Mattel would consider telling them to produce sets at a variety of higher piece counts, which could be like the Towers sold separately, the Collector, or some of the playsets you named.

Thinking about picking up the Super7 retro He-Man and Skeletor to hang out with my other vintage figs. How are they? I heard the leg joints have a problem with sticking but can they be fixed with hot water or a trip to the freezer? Also looking at He-Ro, how is he?

Don't have He-Man and Skeletor but I do have Hordak. Don't have much experience with the vintage stuff aside from holding a few but they're pretty samey, definitely heavier though. Haven't had a problem with my leg joints and this was a problem that supposedly affected Hordak as well.

If these are legit Im going to be kind of pissed. Releasing Lord Faker to retail in magenta with his orange counterpart being the online exclusive makes little sense, especially considering most casual collectors would be familiar with a blue and orange faker anyways. Magenta Lord Faker should have been the exclusive because he's a deeper cut hence the mini-comic colors.
Im not upset at all over the she-ra set since it's bringing something new to the line and Mattel needs to damage control her brand best that they can. That and the swift wind figure is genuinely well made. But the illumina set is just the worst, we already have too many cats in circulation as is. I doubt many people would be after an illumina pack at retail.

I love Moker so much but the thought of making a custom of him seems impossible unless you're a total savant with customs. The easiest parts would probably be the head and body (skeletor and beast-man, duh) but getting a blue he-man harness and getting skeletor's feet an appropriate shade of blue while retaining their articulation seems like a proper head.

Is this set ever going to come out? This was supposed to come out like over a year ago, ive never seen it at retail at all. Will they make anymore? The only listings i find for the set are like 150$ on ebay. I really want that hulk hogan figure so im very pissed that they havent released this at mass retail yet.
