Only limitation I'm aware of are his knees can't stand straight, so he's always standing or floating with his legs angled somewhat. Not really a deal breaker.

>>9172762 H's Black Series is doing a fair job with face printing lately desu, the molds are the ones that are lacking accuracy, but their figure menu is much wider than bandai, being that they release like 70+ figures per year and Bandai does like 2 SW if it's a good year. Maybe Bandai isn't as comfy to keep in that fight for much longer, wich is bad for me as my soul desires that SH pilot luke. There's hope at least that the SH Emperor proto was seen on 2018 and it released on mid 2020 so it's a long game with the other prototypes as well.

>>9228816 I think the problem is that there isn't any new Star Wars movies to keep the franchise alive over in Japan. Plus Japan in general doesn't treat streaming as a legitimate form of media. Even MCU figures seem to be on life support right now.
You'll also remember that even at the height of the SHF Star Wars line (2015-2017) the OT/Prequel figures were only ever sprinkled in among the newer movie figures. So unless something drastically changes over there I don't see Bandai investing much more into Star Wars, much as it breaks my heart.

So, when Tamashii shows off a prototype or a display of a figure being announced at a convention, is that figure itself posable? Like, will the joints and everything work? Or is it just a static figure but it shows where the joints would be? I've always wondered this but never asked.
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>9243703 If it has joints, yes. Tolerances will most likely be fucked as alot of what they show is 3d printed or resin test shots that are made as a proof of concept and haven't been adjusted for mass production. Especially when they're painted resin prototypes just meant to look nice.
