And most of my favorite Beast Wars stuff doesn't even appear in the show. I like the show itself and the characters but as figures I find a lot of them boring compared to what was excluded. I'd rather have had just about any of the other BW basics over Rattrap, for example (Armordillo, Iguanus, Snarl, Spittor, Drill Bit, whatever -- seriously, just about any of them). Cheetor and Rhinox fare somewhat better against other BW deluxes but still don't appeal much to me. Even among show characters I'm disappointed. Where's Tarantulas goddammit?
To be clear I'd never expect in a hundred years for Hasbro to cater to me, and their choices were almost certainly the right ones, but I nevertheless have no attachment to the Beast Wars side of Kingdom.
