I tend to prioritize characters and costumes that have never had a figure before. We already have classic Dracula and, while he does need an upgrade, I’ll still put modern “blood knight” Dracula first because we’ve never seen one. Two: I try to put together waves with a bit of visual diversity. From a marketing perspective you want to have different body types and colors to capture attention.I felt like we already had Mordo in that wave so another vaguely European s looking guy in a robe might be redundant. It’s already a fairly dark wave in general, the red armor + Lilith white skin + Mephisto are the only bold colors. Mordo’s green should be dark, Lord Mar’Vell muted colors, and D’spyre’s hints of ethereal blue don’t really pop from afar.
…yes, I overthink the shit out of these.
