>>9231875Brian's not the problem. Anyone can be like Brian. Anyone buying 2 per on a drop night can be like Brian. I can be like Brian tomorrow if I sell off my sealed duplicates on eBay.
What really hurt the community is 2 things: The loss of the October Toys Forum from the Gaspar's Divorce and the poor upkeep of the Glyos News Dump website. So now the long established community forum of artists, makers, fans and collectors is gone and the Glyos News Dump site has been SORELY lacking on posting news of each and every upcoming Glyos Maker's drop like they had in the past.
Everyone has shifted to Instagram for updates so we're all on one app following multiple Instagram accounts but with no forum to congregate at and form a true community. The discord is the closest thing we have to a current forum community but they aren't threads. You can't make established links to posts of important info. Useful posts and resources now gets lost in the constant flood of replies. The Glyos Connect boards are a fucking ghost town with many sub-forums not having new posts for YEARS.
Matt has not wrangled every Glyos creator under 1 central Hub website that posts their drop news and he REALLY FUCKING SHOULD. A 1-stop Gylos News website that posts news of each new upcoming Glyos-maker's drop with links to their web stores would be what saves this community and unites it so it's fans can better stay on top of things.
