Also they can't be true art, because they suck the life out, and commodify every character. What you are left with is usually a souless husk of a character.

Fortanately being souless, is something funko capitalizes on, based on the ammount of shitty sitcoms are in the line. Souless shows deserve souless figures.

Yea they ran out of paint app money, but the sculpts are really nice. Probably the nicest sculpts hasbro ever produced. Someone really cared about this line at hasbro.

I don't understand how low effort shit like funko dominates the market when companies are doing the best work in the post toys r us era.

Funko is not my cup of tea, BUT if you like it collect it. I did get a couple of them. One was the Ike figure. Kyle's little brother from South Park. The other was Chopper from Rebels. I wanted the Jaws and Smokey and the Bandit ones but poof gone. I only grab one IF I really like the show or character.
