>>9217896>I'm sure an actual screenwriter would do it a hell of a lot better.Don't sell yourself short. I've seen much worse.
>Like I said it's not a perfect idea. The general gist of it though could be really cool and a nice homage to Ramis. It's actually a good idea, respectful to the actor's legacy, while still allowing the character a moment to shine along with the other originals in a passing the torch moment.
Especially if you cut it to the original theme song so that "An invisible man!!!" plays right as the empty suit picks up the proton pack.
Stuff happens, something something something, kids and original guys are getting tossed around, bad guy is winning, someone says "he's too strong / we're not gonna make it" etc...
Doors bust open, empty suit marching forward, in the fog/dark/smoke/whatever, you catch the slightest reflection of the glasses where the head would be but no attempt at recreating the actor with cgi to keep it respectful, and then the music hits "Bustin' makes me feel good!" right as Egon shoots his proton pack. Combined might of the characters defeats the bad guy. Cheering, etc, they turn to look at Egon and the suit just crumples to the ground empty.
No dialogue, no lines, no cgi frankenstein, totally respectful and keeps the original team intact.
It's a good idea, anon.
