Parent just trying to keep up with toys for my kids and I feel like I have to buy everything interested in right away because they disappear then become 4x the price.

When I was a kid I remember seeing things on the shelf forever. Like I could ask for something for 2 bdays or christmases in a row and still get it, still see it on the shelf, still in production.

Now it seems like they print things once and good fucking luck. What is the benefits to a company to constantly need new molds and models new designs. Just make something good and you have new 5 year olds every year to buy it.
