Newfag collector here, as in, I just started buying figs this week. I've had a passing interest for a very long time, and I've browsed this board quite a bit as well as YouTube and toy websites just looking at products and trying to learn the brands/quality/costs of things, and I finally decided I'm just going to buy some damn figures. I'm a 35 yo boomer and was really into action figures as a kid, so I have a decent collection of 90s stuff like Power Rangers, TMNT, Marvel, etc, but other than that the only toy stuff I own are basically statues like Amiibos, plushies, and video game collector's edition statues. I'm throwing down a few hundred bucks to start my collection and get a gauge of what I like and dislike, so I bought some NECA, Marvel Legends/Select, and McFarlane. The only big purchase I made so far was a Revoltech AY Venom figure which I haven't received yet. I don't want to get too crazy before I get a feel for things.

Anyways, sorry for the newfag blog, but I did have a question. What are some toy related websites or blogs I can look at to learn more about everything, or YouTubers if there are any. So far it seems like most YouTubers just do toy reviews, which helps me learn, but I'd like to learn more. I want to know what to follow, like how I track new releases, what stores have exclusives, and just feel more prepared in the future, because as of right now I'm basically searching blind and all the Wave 1/2/3, different sets, exclusives, brands, upcoming events/announces/reveals, is daunting and confusing. I'm learning a lot just browsing here but I'd like to know where to get this information on my own.
