Some concept art from Snake Eyes got released. Kinda glad the Arctic Storm Shadow uses this design because seeing it like this is pretty cool. It must have been too expensive to make or maybe would have been difficult to do stunts in.

I'm thinking about selling my Classified collection to pay off some bills. What would be a fair price to sell a Pulse Snake Eyes? I've seen a lot of them on Ebay, but mine's been opened and displayed but everything's still really good. I've seen the sets commanding a pretty price, so I don't know what I should mark it at. Would $80 be too much? I see them on Ebay going for almost $200.

I worked it out in my head that even if I sell off, I'm just going to buy back in later, and that when I do the ones I end up buying will be the more ARAH looks like the upcoming Roadblock. Not to mention I have Super7 figures on pre-order, and plan to buy into the Re-Actions and buy more into Retro, since I never gave up 1:18. I just got so much Joe in the pipeline it just seemed that if I had to sell something it would be my Classifieds.

Chuckles is a great ARAH figure and I would love to see him get a remake in the Retro line. Especially if they give him the articulation and ROM of the Stalker/FANG pilot bucks.

IIRC he was CID though even though his SMOS was "Intelligence". I don't think you can be both a credentialed CID investigator and a credentialed CI Agent at the same time.

Most other MOS than 35M, 35L, or their officer AOC equivalents would probably be boring figures for someone who didn't know what they really did.

I found out the H.A.C.K.S. heads are compatible. I had an extra Stalker so I changed out the head on one. It's kind of a bitch to change out the neck adapter but it looks good and fits tightly.

It will make it easier to get some OG13 or OG13 style characters with third party heads since it will take forever to get them in stores.

I can only speculate but most retailers are reporting massive cancellations of preorders and day after Christmas like returns across the country the last few days. Some are speculating the Eviction Protections ending in a few days is going to be effecting about 45 million people and most will likley be evicted so you might be seeing waves of people cancelling orders to adjust money into finding a new place.

If they are using the script I think they are using you will have a time exploiting it because your billing address will have to be completely different which paypal will take into account as they have to share the billing address with the company in order to do business. So in short unless you have a sibling or parent willing to put the order in, you'll just have to wait and see if they lift the limits like they have in the past.

Because it was 1 per order and you have to pick up first that's what you chosen. Happen with me ordered rogue for pick up and tried to order another and got canceled. Then my pickup was canceled on release day but they had a full display at the pickup store :/

I just opened my Viper and holy shit it is fucking terrible. Mine has a bobble head since there’s nothing under the helmet. It will literally spin around on the ball joint.

The real offense is the hips, especially the left one. It will not stay up and just drops down. Those drop down hips are a bad design. And now they just flip. I’m honestly debating taking it back to Target. But there’s no way I’d get another and what if they’re all this shitty?

Tried that, tried boiling it, no luck. The weird ass SHF wanna be drop down hip joints will hold zero weight. They just flip. They look like they were not assembled correctly. They don’t sit flush, there is a gap between each ring. So just my luck I got a bum one. So much for waiting a year for these guys.

This is such an annoying problem across the line. My first release Scarlett and Roadblock have the same problem. Scarlett is basically one of those dashboard hula dancers. My Flint seems to be getting there too. And coupled with the sometimes way too tight ball joints in the actual hips, articulating the legs on a lot of these figures really isn't fun.
And the Pulse exclusive Snake Eyes felt so perfect.

Alright, im slowly getting more into classified. For a while the only classified figures i had were snake eyes, destro, cobra commander, regal cobra commander, beachhead, and gung ho. But recently ive gotten zartan, major bludd, firefly(whos my favorite classified figure atm), and today i got pimp destro, cobra infantry, and red ninja. I also ordered supreme cobra commander, the cobra viper, cobra trooper, and baroness and the cycle online and they should be here within the week. There's that Amazon Exlusive Roadblock, but after that it's Jjust speculation. We haven't gotten a regular Storm Shadow, just the Amazon Exclusive and then the movie one, so he is the likeliest option at the moment and there have been possible leaked images of a prototype B.A.T. and Alley Viper heads and the Alley Viper has been on the Box Art since the first wave of figures so he's happening eventually. After that if I had to guess I'd say Shipwreck and maybe Stalker as they are usually up there in terms of Fan Favorite characters people want.

Me too man, i got all the retro figures released up to this point except the cobra soldier (whos still shipping to my house atm), but firefly is again one of my favorite gi joe characters and an updated 3.75 figure of him would be awesome. I also really liked the cobra h.i.s.s. III that came out, rip it has a really cool deco design

I got mine from Dorkside Toys, and got him like a week ago which was a pleasant surpise as he is supposed to come out in September. I'm pretty sure he's still in stock or available for pre-order on there too.

The only ones I have been able to get so far are two Stalkers, one which I replaced the head with a Bossfight blank head, and three FANGs.

I absolutely love the FANG pilot figures. The only downside is that it seems the Cobra buck, and by extension all the Cobra troops, are left handed. It doesn't kill the figure for me and I still think it is the best Cobra trooper body Hasbro has ever made. I hope they manage to make a few more bucks that can be repainting into other figures e.g. Viper, female uniform, rolled up sleeves BDU top etc.

With just those and a change in vest/LBE you can make a ton of the 80's Joes. My wish list figures top two probably Foot Loose and Spirit.

I haven't had that issue with any of the three I have. I was very careful moving the joints the first time and they were fine afterwards. My problem was my dog chewed the left arm off of the first one so I am replacing it with a Mauraders Task Force forearm and hand.

Yeah. You have to take the legs and the rubber overlay off. Then, cut into the hips and slice along the seam line while it’s hot (boiled, ideally) then cool it off with cold water and push the knife into the seam. Twisting the knife should apply pressure along the entire seam, cracking the hips open. Then, do the same to the other figure. You now have two opened hips, with metal pins for the hip T pieces, which you can swap, and then you can glue the hips back together on each figure.

So, QC issues I've noticed are both related to the pistol. Guess they weren't keeping that tooling/mold very well. Pistol is insanely loose in the holster and the silencer's peg hole to attach to to the pistol is way too small/tight and doesn't fit.
The fall from grace on everything related to Snake Eyes after the Pulse exclusive is crazy.

Just hot water. Popped apart at the waist, legs came right off. Easy enough to pop out the pins at the knee, too.

Well to be fair that Pulse Snake Eyes was made in a pre-Covid world. It seems a lot of QC for Hasbro and other companies has suffered since then. Probably don't have as many people working in the factories doing that job so more shit slips though the cracks. Hopefully things get better. Both of mine come in Friday. I'll post if I have any issues. These will be my first and only Vipers but I will say I haven't seen any complains from people in FB groups about that. So if it's a problem then it's definitely just in this reissue. Similar in a way that the reissued Troopers have some sloppy paint and face print compared to the initial release.

And I just said fuck it and super glued the hips. They don’t need drop down joints and I’ll never find another Viper. As of now they have tightened up and holding. It’s just like there wasn’t enough tension in the hip assembly.

Take a look at Power Rangers Lightning. The reason they have so many issues with missing paint apps, and mismatched plastic colors on the same figure, is due to them switching factories. Vietnam makes some parts, and Taiwan makes the rest, and both come out fucked up in terms of QC. The design team is partially to blame but still. Even if China only gets it right 50% of the time, that’s more than anywhere else currently.

He didn't use to, back when Marvel tried to care about meta they did their best to keep Franks interaction with super villains because his always kill policy made things complicated and if he took down sups regularly it would just hurt the medium as a whole because why worry if spider-man can beat the supervillain if said villain jobbed to middle age man with guns. However like all Marvel characters of the post 00s he has been wildly all over the place, killing well above his class and then getting jobbed in embarrassing ways(pic not related, he has had worse)

I can't wait to get my second Viper tomorrow. I'm going to have them flank Cobra Commander. Since it uses Duke's body it's a pretty solid figure. I like that the helmet is sort hollow but has the socket inside. I wish Hasbro would do that with the newer Star Wars figures instead of doing hollow helmets with heads glued inside.

Snake Eyes is alright. The lack of boot swivel sucks but the suit design overall works for a decent stand in of v2 in this scale, just needs a belt and bandolier. Not crazy about the helmet design though. Also the butterfly joints on mine seem to be stuck or the range on them is just pitiful that it feels like they aren't moving. I'm kind of impressed at the detail on his trench knives with the dragon motif that's etched into the blades that forms one image. Still not going to see the movie though and the Henry Golding head is going to become a Rebel trooper in my Star Wars collection.

Baroness, coomer bait aside, is better than I thought. I'm going to dremmel down her neck a bit so it isn't so long. I like that her gun comes with the suppressor that can be plugged in but also the suppressor has an open barrel for flash effects too. Also the glasses on mine have a big black streak on the lens but I think she look better without them anyway. If you can't get the Cobra Island one, I'd say this is a decent stand in which is what I bought it for originally until the Target restock happened.

Which is wrong, considering he's fought many villains, like both Batroc and Tarantula, who fought with superheroes, even getting an advantage over them, especially in the silver and bronze age.
So even if you don't count them, there's still other ones like the Reavers. Nevermind all the superpowered heroes he's taken on like Daredevil, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man and many more.
That other guy's argument was that Punisher could take on and beat Snake Eyes because he's fought against supervillains, but he should also include superheroes.

Does Punisher keep any of his guns? Doesnt matter. It only lends credence toward Punisher being extremely resourceful and has hax planning powers like Batman, which is why Punisher is able to kill so many gangsters and even armies, despite being outnumbered and without harming regular people 99% of the time. This has basically been the Punisher's MO since he was created.
So could he win against Snake Eyes? Prolly, since in the 616, SE would be a lesser mook, not even in Batroc and Tarantula's range of powers. SE would maybe be some mid-level Hand ninja who looks cooler than the rest of the generic ninjas, but has no lines (HAH!) and only after Punisher beats him does the real villain of teh story comes out from the shadows at the end of the issue.

To be fair most of these scalper types that create scarcity are late 30s divorced balding losers that collect mostly 1/12 lines like cape heroes and wrestlers, and tend to be the type to have Punisher or Boba Fett tattoos and will do like what we have seen here and get caught up on how awesome their fictional husbando is over everything else.

Are you just being dumb on purpose? Punisher shows how resourceful he is when he takes on multiple baddies, some of which are super powered, whereas this is basically just a one on one fight. A dumb robot and Scarlet needed help at the end to beat it too. Hama actually writes a believable story (within comic book logic) and kept it consistent throughout his run.

ARAH always has a rough time and I think it has to do with how sloppy it handle the cast. That's actually what I did last night. It helps hide her giraffe neck for now. The helmet isn't a perfect solid fit but it's snug enough. She'd be perfect as some sort of Cobra ninja/assassin chick.

Yea, that's exactly what I was hoping for. I can deal with it not being perfect as long as it works. I'll probably use her as my Classified Vypra since I doubt we'll ever see her in 6" form. That bike helmet is too nicely designed to not use on a figure.

The look also gives off some real Celty Sturluson vibes, so she'll also be getting the bike.

Snake Eyes was always OP, at least, somewhere during the Kwinn stories (i forget which issues).
The fact that he seemed to grow more overpowered in the ast half of the series is because he started to become the focus of the series. Hama was pretty consistent throughout the series.

Where's the goalpost movement? By exampling an alternate Punisher to show how he's able to take out super powered characters? It's fair use, especially since someone wanted to use 80s cartoon GI Joe into this and MAX Punisher was brought up as well.

Seems everyone has hang ups on what to do with Duke, he never keeps a focused character and rarely does any one writer know what to do with him. In Spy Troops and VvV he was just the boy scout, in Renegades he was the budding hero, in Retaliation he was the 'bad cop' . It's not like TMNT or Transformers where people look at certain characters and know what you expect of their personalities. It's likely why Joe gender swaps happen so easily was their lack of character.
