>>9215894hey there, the guy who posted those displays here. that vision is the original toybiz from the mid 2000s, i think it's earlier than 08. as for the FF, i missed out on their original walgreens releases and honestly prefer their 80s/90s looks, so i plan to go for the retro wave.
classic Thanos is one of ML's best, the only downside is the lack of calm head/fisted gauntlet, but honestly, with a snapping hand, who wouldn't use that? 2017 retro BP is decent enough but I'd recommend the proper classic Walmart one. I have a toybiz surfer elsewhere on the shelf I plan to replace whenever they redo him. I have a retro Doom I am putting a custom cape on here shortly.
>>9218319I have some X-Men but not enough to make a proper display that I'd like to show off yet, it's very WIP. I admittedly have not read a lot of X-Men stuff but I look to find some more stories to read. DOFP so far is my favorite. I plan to read House of X considering the wave just came out. I am currently picking through the figures I find interesting and building my own X-Men roster. I feel the 90s one is overdone and I really like the giant-size x-men looks, with the addition of beast and some others in there. as of now I have the retro brown wolverine, the 80th vHulk wolverine, DOFP wolverine, juggernaut Deadpool, and then a DOFP Amazon Sentinel I got that reeks of cigs and is currently marinating in a box with a cup of vinegar and a ton of baking soda. I have Juggernaut v Colossus 80th on PO.
