>>9259062To be honest, and I do consider myself a serious collector, with a "garage" of well over 20,000 die-cast cars, trucks, Monster Jam Monster Trucks, and motorcycles as well. My majority of my collection is 1/64th scale, I have a 1/24th Olds Cutlass 442, as well as a odd mix of 1/43 and 1/55 as well. My point is, I really can't pin point one line over another. I honestly like what most have to offer. Now Maisto is probably my least collected, but again I do have a lot of that brand too. For premium, M2 was on the low end, but lately they have stepped it up big-time! But for a 1-10 list.....here goes.
#1)Tomica Limited Vintage (downside $$$$$)
#2)Auto World
#3)Greenlight (Especially Kings of Crunch)
#4)Johnny Lightning Black Bandit series
#5)Matchbox Premiun
#6)Hot Wheels Premium multiple lines
#7)M2
#8)Matchbox mainline-unique castings
#9)Hot Wheels mainline-still have it!
#10)Tie Jada & Maisto with Jada having the edge due to the Fast & Furious line-up.
Greenlight has extremely well made cars with incredible details. They also have a shit ton of unique accessories for their cars and trucks. They have made Campers, trailers, garages, Gas Stations, as well as station accessories like Jack's, pumps, etc. The movie lines are also sick. Greenlight, Auto World, and Johnny Lightning are all well made and highly detailed cars. However Tomica Limited Vintage is the best of all of them in scale and detail. All of the cars, trucks, busses, etc in that line are all scaled to one another really well. A semi truck and or bus will dwarf a Honda or Toyota. The downside? PRICE! Tomica Limited Vintage are expensive. Cars run between $20.00 and $70.00+. Busses $75 .00+ Semi trucks, again $75.00+. The cars have detail like no other. The cars have suspension as well. The interiors are incredibly detailed and look like a stock showroom car. Another downside, being a Japanese die-cast company their main focus is on JDM cars. Older Japanese cars, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, etc.
