>>9243332>I'm allowed to dislike something if I don't like the direction the franchise has gone. I'm allowed to speak with my wallet by not buying merchandise related to said franchise.Yeah, you totally are, and there's nothing wrong with not supporting a series any longer, even if you like SOME part of it.
But tossing out stuff you already own? Negatively affecting your own memories that way? That's childish.
>Some of us can't just stick our heads in the sand and pretend like everything is alright. No one is doing this. Everyone here acknowledges bad shit happens and may have even changed people's buying habits.
Maybe shit would be better if we just outright boycotted stuff, but my personal opinion is that we should support only the parts that i do like. Positive reinforcement, because these companies like money and only supporting the things i like will get more of those things made. In theory, anyway.
But here's what you and children don't understand: tossing your own shit away is only spiting YOURSELF. These companies don't give a shit about what oyu do with your old shit and they literally do not know you're even doing that.
At least when a kid tosses his own toys and throws himself about on teh carpet, his parents know it happened, making that kid more clever than you.
>Hence you writing out this post, huh?Nothing you're saying affects my own thoughts, likes, or enjoyment. Like i said above and in previous post, i have no problem sharing my opinion on stupid shit stuff like the bad SW sequels and childish mentalities like yours.
