So I recently had a huge Cyberpunk itch and ended up snapping up a Vtoys Robin and Solomon Plan Beel. Some thoughts.
For the anon earlier ITT asking if Robin is worth the 150, yes. The details on my copy’s face aren’t perfect but pretty much everything else about the figure is. Plenty of accessories, great/natural posing, and just a great set of accessories and features for a toy of its size. He’s a bit taller than what most would expect from a 1/12 figure, but it’s not awful.
Beel is a bit of a mixed bag. The joint placement and use on the wrists and ankles is a bit bizarre, and the combat vest and belt are also difficult to put on and feature finicky locking systems. One of the male notch plugs for the belt snapped off out of the box. Bummer. Also, his hood doesn’t sit comfortably/realistically on his head, which is a shame, because it does look nice when pulled down, and the sword sheath is bizarre. Even at 50 dollars less than Robin, I don’t feel totally confident about the purchase. Hoping for more cool cyberpunk in the future. Will post pics soon.
