Mythic legions is a little guy in comparison it's weird that you would even go here. They do not sell like crazy, they make profit I'm sure, probably going to need to expand if Arethyr is any indication but they're working at a much lower volume than Hasbro, who, just puts their product in every imaginable store in crazy heavy volumes across the world.
Now think about this
Say you have an purple elf man that lets say 40 people buy, and Darth Vader which let's say 3000 people buy
What one of these toys are you going to invest more resources in and spread across the world to make tons of money?
Here is an example you can try for yourself, go on Hasbro pulse and see if you can buy a Darth Vader, then go see if you can buy Drizzt then buy it if you want them to continue making them because spoiler they're still in stock.
That's why they don't give the resources to d&d and why a haslab d&d dragon will fall flat on it's face, it isn't worth the effort when you can make mountains of money selling Darth Vader's and Optimus prime
Plus mythic legions said they got you covered on that whole dragon thing someday anyway
