>>9277264In the Great White North, our stores are a joke! Scalpers have destroyed the hobby. At 8am, an hour before Target's open, these fat ass basement dwellers skulking around outside like pedos at a day care. Wal-Mart, same thing. I was just released from the hospital. Pneumonia, sepsis, and a minor heart attack. I obviously can't spend hours, days, etc in toy departments. My health won't allow me that luxury. Aside from that, if I catch Covid-19 I am DEAD! I got vaccinated when I left the hospital, I can't play with fire. We have 2 Target stores, and 2 Wal-Marts. We have a couple grocery stores who stock die-cast, but the fucked up HILARIOUS PART? Target & Wal-Mart's shelves, EMPTY as a scalpers pants. Nothing there but air! The ONLY place I've gotten ANY mainline cars, a grocery store. WTF!?!? If you check eBay, the people with the re-sale "memberships" for Hot Wheels & other collectibles have gone up 20X' in a year. Prices for a $0.94 cent car? $5.00-$20.00, and if it is a Super Treasure Hunt, $50.00+ for some. These scumbags have trashed every hobby from Hot Wheels, to Star Wars, to Funko Pops, to DC Collectibles, to Marvel Legends. All of these are now hoarded off shelves. Cases are grabbed before they even hit the shelves. ANYTHING considered a "CHASE" piece is automatically grabbed, ALL OF THEM.
The more fucked up part? We have some fat fucks who actually HIRE people to toy Hunt for them. Wal-Mart's Hot Wheels especially for the Zamac WM exclusives, and the Target Exclusive Red-Series. White Lightnings, Spin Master chase trucks, low numbered Nascar Authentics varaints, and the M2 Chase pieces also. When there are 30+ bloated cows lumbering along trying to out roll the other cows to get to the toy department first. It's funny watching these fat fucks flopping around like massive sows in mud, squealing! Once they get get to the die-cast cars it's like they've found a all you can eat doughnut aisle! It sucks!
