>>9268297Every MCU Spidey has been bad.
>civil war SpideyCouldn’t be further from the film in terms of accuracy. Also has no interchangeable hands, so you’re stuck with the dreaded “fist and web shooter” combo.
>homecoming tech suitIt’s not bad. The 2-pack one was really solid in terms of the colors, but both it and the Vulture wave one are decent. Plenty of hands and paint. Issue is, the heads are kinda lame. You’re stuck with “wide eyed”, “squinting”, or “one eye squinting”. There’s no standard option, and none of the newer ones match in terms of color.
>homemade suitHonestly pretty decent, although it suffers from the concept art issue affecting most MCU stuff. The goggles and webshooters are wrong, and the colors are really muted. The hood up looks kinda lame, but overall a good figure. Definitely the best of the bunch.
>iron spiderThey’ve had two cracks at this one, with one being a part of the exclusive 2-pack, but that one is better in every way. Sculpt is decent, and it comes with legs and web shooters accurate to the movie, but the Tom Holland head looks off and he’s stuck with two web shooting hands. No fists at all. But this is when they implemented the standard MCU buck for him, so he looks decent. The lack of hands is what kills it. Also would like shinier plastic but whatever.
>stealth suit/night monkeyPretty good. Accurate to the movie, plenty of options. I have no notes. It’s just that it’s not really Spidey so much.
>upgrade suitWorst one on here. The lack of paint makes it McDonald’s-tier, and there’s no fists, just weird gripping hands for some reason. No alternate heads either, so at least the head is standard. But it’s barely worth $20, let alone the crazy aftermarket for it.
The new ones look okay, minus the Upgrade suit rerelease. Fixed zero of the issues with it, but they added the bad Tom Holland head and a shitty webline, and it’s Walmart exclusive. Awful.
