>>9265901A lot of the Amazing Yamaguchi line (Spider Man, Iron Man/War Machine, Wolverine, etc.) were sculpted with MvC design aesthetics and posability in mind. Iron Man's armor is a different style, but the articulation and accessories are better for MvC style posing than any other figures I think.
For some of the other characters, your next best bet may be Mafex, and for a few of them you can probably get away with the Mafex over the AY depending on which character it is.
For a lot of the Capcom characters, you're gonna be relying on mixing different companies so scale will be important. A Storm Collectibles Zangief would look more in-scale than a Storm Collectibles Chun-Li, for example, because he's meant to be a big character and his size can be fudged a bit easier. Some of your best bets on SF characters specifically may come from either the SH Figuarts (mainly the male figures because the female ones did end up with more generic anime-style faceplates) or the old Sota figures.
For some characters, you're going to be relegated to your only options being statues or things that are 100% going to be out of scale.
Dante's only got a Sentinel figure with some debatable QC, a Neca figure (good luck not having it break when you look at it wrong), or a smaller scale Revoltech with some pretty shitty proportions but possibly the best articulation and most classic look.
For classic Mega Man and Roll, I think the best bet is honestly the Nendoroids. They're already chibi-ish in comparison to the rest of the cast and I don't see why you couldn't fudge them in if you're putting them in the background or something.
Overall you're probably gonna get the best results from AY / Mafex for the Marvel characters and then work your way out as you build up the roster.
