>>9272744depends on your preference, some revoltechs have the bang for your buck articulation and accessory wise, the evangelion evolution line was pretty cool except Unit 01´s head sculpt is horrible even worst than every previous Unit 01 revoltech and that after Unit 05 they got mor and more scummy with accessories and quality, evas 01 to 05 are solid but MArk 06 only has the right colour for the spear in special editions, the spear has never been sculpted properly in revoltech as for some reason they just end the spear in ball point as If the actual rear end was confidential lore information they cant put in merchandise just yet, that was 10 years ago.
Robot Spirits have made a new version of the evas and are in general decent even If they make the heads kind of big and the proportions still arent quite right, the New Unit 02 alfa(the JA hybrid) has noticeable huge head and the revoltech does a great job with this design in comparison. Unit 08 Kai Ganma looks awesome though, likewise only revoltech has Unit 05.
Mafex are scaled down versions of the RAH, they are MAYBE the best sculpt/proportin wise and even the accessories are the same as the RAH, problem is that they are kind of expensive(not as much as the RAH) and QC is total garbage, I would buy the new 01 and 13 versions( they even included a third longinus at scale with cassius for teh fight scene and fixed extra arms like in the scene) If they turned out great but QC makes everyone scared of biting the bullet.
for the OG series your best bet are either the soul specs, the revoltechs( you cant get the whole set of evas in the line) or the plastic models, both the old bandai ones or the new kotobukiya ones that are really banging sculpt wise, the bandai RG of the new films designs are really popular but again the head scuplt of 01 is just a little off, too much liberties.
the three zero eva is fucking solid die cast, really good in body sculpt and detail, 01´s head is not too accurate but looks good
