>"RALPHS DEATH RALPHS DEATH!!111"
>Blatantly ignores that drops were winding down before that for more than a year
>Blatantly ignores the countless comments by Matt over the years that were increasingly more cryptic and suggestive of someone winding down their line
>Matt has spoken at length on the blog, on toy pizza streams, and in person at cons about struggling to keep things creatively fresh, being burnt out by the demands of frequent drops of the same stuff over and over again, has said that the Delphi will basically signify the end of the line for him, the creative fire is no longer burning in the spotlight, etc
Ralph passing away was a terrible event that served as the second catalyst after covid to allow Matt more freedom to stop spending so much time on this thing which no longer the number one priority. He spends time with his family and doing dozens of other toy projects both glyos related and not. Mainline glyos is not dead, no, but it is in something that's remarkably close to hibernation. I would not be surprised to see mainline glyos releases slow to one a year or less while he assists in the production of those that want to make toys for as long as it's some version of financially viable, which from what I understand, probably won't be for that long.
