He could've done something like transform Sonichu into a journal while avoiding the internet so if people wanted to keep track of him they would've needed to buy Sonichu, just an idea; though he would've needed to control his ego to do something like that and that might just be beyond him, even before the Tomgirl Saga.
What I'm saying is that it wasn't an unsalvageable mess.
