Do you remember that odd era in the 2000's where Lego tried to go full sports? Some weird time that was.

Yeah it was odd. I actually had the playable soccer set, I had fun with it. wasnt really "lego" though

here's another sports toy i want to bring up: NBA Superheroes. imo a great concept but poor execution. it wasnt just the squeezy launchers, the toys themselves were pretty average. or at least my imagination wasnt strong with them because im no sports fan

I had the orange and white guy. I wish I got more, though. I’m pretty sure most of these have Bionicle pieces in unique colors, which would’ve been useful for making custom Bionicles.
