But none of this really mattered for merchandise, figures for TV era. Bandai made NXEDGE, Koto made kits during all this. The reason we don't get them much is simply because Rebuild sells because it was the ongoing version.

Like there aren't any American toys for Eva AFAIK, nothing significant anyways. Nobody cares, at least toy wise, about a weird mecha show with biblical tones that's a commentary on genres loved by otakus. Mecha in general if it isn't 80's nostalgia.
