Status of MCX:
Land Shark, Slime Pit and "Hordak Strikes" construction sets.
Slime Pit pre-order is only $10.34 (confirmed skeletor head), while Land Shark is $26.24 ... that shouldn't be any bigger than the $19,99 MSRP Battle Ram, so I hope there's a third figure and other goodies.
"Hordak Strikes" shows an MSRP of $29.99 – supposedly just a block figure build
Thread Question: Do you make your own sub-factions/teams/rivals with your MOTU figures? If so, what are they?

I've mentioned this one before in a thread, but Saurod/Blast Attak are a team in my collection
I also like to lump cybernetic heroes together...Mekaneck, Snout Spout, Sy-klone, Man-e-Faces, Roboto. They're a good team
As for rivals, Zodac and Mantenna, space man vs space alien. And I like to use Rio Blast as the main "anti-Snakemen" hero. I play it like a "Bravestarr vs Carrion Bunch" scenario, a lone lawman against a small outlaw group of serpents

They also had to do away with making the arms removable just to do the gimmick in the first place. Would making it bigger have also affected shoulder articulation further?
I'm just putting those considerations out there. If they could do the bigger chest and still not sacrifice anything, well and good. But if a bigger chest would have meant having as little articulation as the vintage, at that point, you might as well just buy the vintage.

Im genuinely surprised neither Super7 nor Mattel have decided to re-release the vintage figures. Meanwhile mattel just hasnt tapped into that market at all. They wouldnt even need to release everybody, just the rarer harder to get for a decent price guys. Call it "MOTU greatest hits" or something. Im picturing the line up would be something like laser-light he-man and skeletor, Mosquitor, Saurod, Tytus, Megator, and the 1988 guys.

All the deluxes so far have relatively complicated mechanisms (in Clamp Champ's case it's in his accessory rather than in the figure itself)

People don't seem to take into account that deluxes are nor just "action features". They're specifically features that require a mechanism, mostly spring loaded ones.
