Anonymous
>>9302250 It's not a protest! Stupid fuck. Their is a Chinese Indian virus tearing up asia right now. "Small businesses and residents in Vietnam are struggling under the weight of harsh lockdown restrictions. Despite the virus' resurgence, just 3.9% of the population has been vaccinated so far." Are Vietnam figures are probably being made by dying Vietnamese kids and takes via cow threw the dense Vietnamese jungles. Then when the cow finally reaches the ports it must wait in a long line of other cows trying to ship their cargo. The cargo can't go because of strick cleaning regulations and the shipping companies being under staffed. Then when the cow finally gets the figures onto the cargo ship it must track across the ocean and avoid the giant trash pile in the middle of the ocean. Then if your cargo doesn't fall off the ship it has to wait in line to drop its cargo off (This can take up to 3 days.) Then finally it will ship to BBCTS who will then ship it to you.

Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>9302344 They already put out the first recolor, and are currently doing the definitive Namek saga line up for the dragon balls. If they were ever planning on doing a 2.0, it would be now. It's not coming. This is their "good enough" version of the character and it's the best you can expect to get.
Anonymous
>>9302359 So why did they have Vegito in a black gi in SDBH anyway?
Anonymous

Anonymous
>>9302367 >>9302362 And merchandising, but that's what modern Dragon Ball is all about nowadays. Heroes has so much untapped potential, figure wise.
I really dig the black on this. Did the SHF Vegitos come with distinctly brown hair? It's honestly a selling point for me, apart from not owning a Vegito.
Anonymous
>>9302344 Yeah, what other anons have said. They've given it a retool to allow greater motion in the ab and hips, but otherwise deem it perfectly fine. Kefla proved that they have no quarms using these hips where it makes sense.

I wonder how DBH figures would sell, honestly. The Xenoverse figures were so fucking boring, but some of the DBH designs are pretty toyetic, but many people also sperg out about anything new or tertiary, so..
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>9302344 There's mainly 2 legitimate reasons I can think of for someone wanting this, the first obviously being the dragon ball. >>9302432 If they were changing anything about the figure it would require a new mold, in at which point they might just as well upgrade the entire thing. The fact that there's still a hole in the main head even though it's a "DBZ Namek" release should tell you everything you need to know. New sculpting and molding would also be reflected in the cost, clearly it isn't.
Exact same figure from the exact same mold. Changes to the heads are paint changes, just how like how EE Nappa's face looks slightly better.

thats why this year they picked Godku, relatively modern figures that were couple years old with stupid aftermarket prices.
If I had to guess the other EEs I would guess SS2 Gohan, and the Buus although they are less obvious. Majin Vegeta i'd bet the house on. And then in a couple(3-4 years) they'll do Raditz and the Ginyus.

On the other hand, I can't find a single fault with my SSB Kaioken Goku, if you didn't know better, you'd think it was a real Tamashii figure. The head kits are good also.
Anonymous
>>9303821 They're fairly insignificant in the grand scheme of things and DF existing might even benefit them in some cases. Like the new cheap Goku Black people might have been on the fence about it but with the DF scythe head pack people might pick up the figure who otherwise might not have. Or having Zamasu avilable might make people wana get Black. Same with the eating set, someone who buys the majin vegeta and gets the eating face might be tempted to pick it up.

I don't like playing that game and unlike bandai/amazon/whoever it's harder to get shit replaced if your figure sucks which it most likely will. My blueshirt Goku had his boot detached out of the package and his legs were super floppy. The guys at 5ktoys who I bought from sent me a replacement leg which at least let the boot click in/stay attached, but the leg was still just as floppy and made handling the figure feel like shit. told myself Never again.

It doesn't match any depection of him in the film or even video games that I can find. It has way too much red >Nothing that figuarts can do about this, but all the articulation in the midsection makes his abdoment very busy, whereas the long, smooth abdomen in Cooler is sort of a defining visual feature. Final form Frieza suffers from the same problem. These character designs just don't lend themselves to highly articulated figures I was excited but now that I have it I regret buying it. I already took it off my display and boxed it up. I will wait for a Meta Cooler. So many other figures recently have been killing with their accurate coolers and smartly design articulation or good accessories. This one feels like a step back

The whole franchise has a mass produced milked cheap vibe after DBS and they are just going along with it.
