Deluxe Revelation Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw. Both can achieve pre and post time skip looks.

>>9304248 >I guess this confirms Origins is alive until at least then eh? Thats good isn't it? Yes, it is a good thing. Mattel's claiming the line will be alive in 2023 and so will Origins, although they used the wording in addressing rumors from Scott Nietlich:
>"There are no plans to discontinue Origins." So, I'd imagine the inevitable response from Scott will be that it's a boilerplate response of saying:
>"Well, we wanted it to continue, but we couldn't." Also I'd fully anticipate him to suggest that Origins appearing in Mattel Creations is proof that it's leaving retail.

Only exception so far was the re-released skeletor, was like 290 pesos on amazon with free shipping, too good to pass. Also saw 200x evil-lyn at that price but she quickly jumped to 500+, the others tho, start at 400+ sometimes 600+

>>9304551 To say that He-Man is very popular here would be an understatement. The show keeps re-running on cable and YouTube, some kids like my friend's son like the character and got into the toyline.
You may know this already, but the Filmation cartoon here had full lyrics on the opening. In 2010 the singer of that version made a remastered version that got used for a while on re-airings.
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjcyHPaXBuM That said, it's a matter of perspective. Some figures here like Tri-klops is nearly 50 bucks and in general it's an issue of peso-dollar exchange. What might be cheap for you, ameribro, might be kind of "eeeeeh maybe later" for me. It fucking blows.

>>9304443 I've always disliked the expanded Snakemen, and I think I finally figured out why...
The OG Snakemen all had action features that mirrored something an actual snake (real or mythic) does
>King Hiss, sheds skin >Rattlor, quick strikes like a real rattlesnake >Sssqueeze constructs like a python >Tung Lashor flicks his tongue in and out >Kobra Khan spits venom >Snakeface, while not a real life snake, has a feature that emulates Medusa Now, look at all these things. First off, half of them appear to have no feature, period. But (imo) it also needs to be a feature that mirrors an actual snake somehow.
Fangor comes closest because they can do "popout" fangs to emulate a vipers retractable fangs. But the rest are basically worthless as they are

I am Ok with it besides the original text phrase. It kinda sounds like a rascist, stereotypical reducing on skin color with a thrirsty, cringy black inferior complex. I mean just skip the magical melanin, write that he gets his power from the sun. That should be enough and still keep the classic origin.

Mattel's kinda going all in if they're doing Kol Darr. They've picked up the license for Filmation, which some people questioned if they would or not, and Kol Darr proves that they did. They also sprung for the movie license, which I assume to be licensed thru William Stout like Super7 did. And they licensed Sun-Man. Super7 also made similar claims regarding She-Ra and Classics saying how they were forbidden to really do them while the Netflix series was going on, because Dreamworks owned the IP.
So, I'm thinking Mattel sprinted for the license with the interest on their part of doing more She-Ra in the line. It would also allow them to do Shadow Weaver in Origins and she's a major character in the Horde.

Place your bets for which figures will be packed with Mega Construx Snake Mountain! A Skeletor variant is obligatory, and I suspect a He-Man to fight him is too, rather than all-evil figures. I'm hoping for Dragon Blaster and Thunder Punch. Besides Skeletor, SM is most closely associated with the Snake Men. We can expect 6 figures at most, like Castle Grayskull had, and every Snake Man but Kobra Khan requires almost all-new parts. So including all 6 Snake Men is out. If we're really, really lucky, we'll get Skeletor, He-Man, KK, King Hiss, Rattlor and Tung Lashor, the cast of "King of the Snake Men". But I'd bet on them being too stingy for that.

The He-Man and the MOTU panel just happened and I'm pretty excited about it, even more so now knowing that we'll be getting some Masterverse figures for it. Skeletor seems pretty damn menacing, I'd say even more than Revelations Skeletor, from the clip they showed. I'm sure some won't like the "we have the Power", or that Skeletor and his crew basically have an equal but opposite power to tap into, but it's a pretty fun concept, and levels the playing field a lot between the heroes and the villains and doesn't really leave anyone behind as a result. At the very end of the panel Revelations Part 2 was teased as coming out before the end of the year "during a holiday", most likely around Christmas, though I guess it could be Halloween? My main issues with it are, in order:
>terrible, awful lore Scott treats it like fucking gospel too
>BAD articulation Not only is it limited, it’s poorly thought out. No ankle rockers, useless ab crunch, etc
>paint apps Would you believe me if I said the FACES were painted instead of the hair? And it chips off? Meanwhile origins has 2 separate parts for some heads to avoid this issue
>style Classics is nitty gritty muh realistic, which is retarded
>look up what Beastman’s “real name” is >Orko was just pretending to be retarded the whole time >Marlena destroyed an entire planet accidentally >Spector >mattycreator Meanwhile the vintage sold millions of units. They are beloved toys but sometimes the aftermarket doesn’t reflect that.

>>9306657 "All I can say about why this line ended is that partner two was upset about some of the decisions partner one was making. Partner Two is in the midst of a severe corporate downsizing and doesn't understand why it has to split IP rights with Partner One (as well as licensing fees for the wrestlers themselves) on a badly distributed line, when it could instead have a wide-release line sold everywhere (including their website and live shows) and not sharing residuals with anyone except the wrestlers.
Partner Two is also kind of salty that the big movie event that Partner One promised for 2020 never happened. Partner One has countered with "well, you ain't so hot yourself, bud" and "them empty arenas ain't exactly pushing our IP to new heights while we're trying to get a couple of tv series off the ground, bruh" so it ended abruptly and cordially.
The perennial struggle has been between one partner wanting to make figures that sell (ie, the legends of WWF) and the other partner wanting to focus more on using the figures to promote their current roster. I think it's funny that the line replacement will be Superstars, because that's what Partner Two fought kicking and screaming for three years.
At the end of the day, somebody with common sense and a hhhead for certain aspects of the business said "this is what sells, and this is what we need to focus on, or we're not going to have a current roster to promote." Sometimes micromanagement works, especially when you have a licensing department that went to Harvard but has never seen a wrestling match."

>>9306633 TMNT is at IDW, there won't be a crossover any time soon. And do we really need to push a crossover rather than MOTU itself? Could be both a new ongoing comic series as well as the next animation after Revelation, perhaps.

>>9306708 Are you talking about the upcoming line? One would imagine this "common sense" part of the statement there came long after wave 1.
Either way, being limited to Walmart really hindered the line and its potential for growth. Even just a 2-pack VS setup with new and old wrestlers would have alleviated the supposed concerns of pushing current wrestlers. Hulk Hogan vs Cena, Austin vs Orton, Rock vs Drew, etc.
Doesn't seem likely we'll ever get more WWEternia, but it'd be cool to see them come back in Masterverse, though Steve kind of shot that down on one of his streams, saying that Elites and Ultimates are basically the same thing (though he may have misunderstood the question, since articulation may be similar, but it isn't like they have fantasy armor and weapons).

MCX: the Monstroid was the only real surprise here, but all the sets look fantastic.
Origins: I was most looking forward to Jitsu and especially Clawful, but at this point I'm not a big fan of how either turned out. Stridor came out strong, however, and it looks absolutely amazing. It's cool that Sun-Man is showing up, but I'm not a fan of how his head turned out. Kuldar looks really cool, but probably not something I'm going to go out of my way to get.
Masterverse: Most of the reveals were known, but they turned out better than I was expecting, and they look great on display in the cases. The New Eternia stuff was a nice surprise and something that has a lot of potential, I think. And the teases of PoP and the new Netflix show showing up in Masterverse was a really nice surprise.
