Snagged my two Spiders. Not sure if Ben is worth the upgrade since I hate how they did the big black spider on this release. Spider Armor looks good even if it's the game version, and the Black Suit is a clear upgrade. Not sure about the villains though. Hammerhead is an easy skip for me but Hobby and Shocker look great, just not sure how deep I wanna go down that rabbit hole.

I really don't recommend pre-ordering from Amazon if you can help it. Even with BBTS getting shit as late as it does, Amazon outright cancels orders on you, I've had a number of figures just cancelled. And if you're a SHF DBZ fan, don't forget the whole Goku Black fiasco. Only time BBTS, EE or Dorkside and the like cancelled on me was BBTS cancelling a DC Icons 2 pack that DCC just never released.

I hope soon but I kind of wish they would make a new leaner body beforehand. I think Pizza Spidey has the best sculpt and proportions for Spider characters, the articulation just sucks for them. If they could rework it to have the Retro articulation set up and be pinless, that would be ideal.

I don't like the guy, I usually find his videos pretty insufferable, but he has a good point about the concept of Haslab. I think the Sentinels came out well, minus the knee, which can be remedied with that screw (and don't say it's only temporary without an example,) but yeah, Hasbro does not need to be crowdfunding. That said, I'd probably still back a Haslab project if it drew me in enough. We'll have to see what the rancor looks like.

Are you familiar with how the figma stand works? Its a bolt that runs across with a nut on the other side that keeps it in place allowing the arm to bend with ease. Is the sentinel knee held together with a screw or a bolt and nut on the other end? Does the metal run all the way through the knee to the other side?

Got my Sentinel today and the whole right leg is a little funky. Did the screw fix for the knee, but the hip joint for doing splits is also not the tightest and other than standing perfectly straight it kinda starts to drift outward under its weight.
Still pretty awesome though.

I waited for years and years for my favorite suit to get a modern figure. And now we're here, and...it kinda looks bad. Something just looks really wrong with the neck, like he's wearing a weird turtleneck, or his neck is too long or something. It really sticks out to me in all the promo pics. His shoulders seem puny, they're supposed to have beefy shoulder pads over them, not just the chrome texture over normal sized shoulders. And finally, this is a retro wave figure, and yet, it follows not the comic, nor the Animated Series, but perplexingly, the PS4 Spider Armor design.

I am equal parts puzzled and disappointed.

I would have liked it to be more accurate to either the cartoon or the comics, but as is it still looks like the gist of what I'd want out of a spider-armor. Well minus the bulkiness and shoulderpads. The armor plates are actually molded there and not just lines which is a plus to me. For me personally I think he looks pretty damn good and the main glaring issue for me is that he's not using a modified Retro mold.

It's not without its faults but it's also not an overly expensive figure. Maybe me/others not being overly picky is why they keep doing less than what others want. I'm not saying one shouldn't be picky either. They'd never improve if people didn't complain. Just don't hold it against me for picking him since I do like the look of him over all.
