If Super Robot Chogokin was still alive, I'd say that. So many incredibly solid and fun releases that took up little space. Extra pieces out the ass too. Shame the resale prices are getting absurd. Otherwise, options are pretty limited for fun poseable bots outside of model kits.

In terms of poseability and details, it's fucking absurd and makes the SoC feel like a brick. I keep taking it down and staring at it. Definitely worth every yen. Pictures really do it a disservice.

Yep, original release and the premium colors one from last year. If you do buy it I'd actually go with the KO version from Beast Kingdom. They improved the shoulder joints from the original(the rerelease did as well, but the KO one is even more sturdy). It also has much cooler, and wider Final Dancouga wings. If it had the colors of the newer release it'd be near perfect. Paintwise the BK it's also very good, almost indistinguishable except a few QC issues in the smaller areas.

No matter which version you pick, it poses spectacularly.

I have a couple mixed shelves in my display. Most of it is organized by line, but for display purposes sometimes mixing it up looks better, like the top center shelf with Gaogaigar, Optimus Prime, and Psycho Gundam.

As much as I love the Pose+ GGG, I can't bring myself to buy it.
If they do GaoFighGar though, I might have to get that.
Most of my stuff is transformers and hot toys with various figmas and robutts.

The Max Gokin Big O is in my top 5 figures, Amazing piece. So good I ended up casting aside the SoC(and never pic, which is picked up the accessory pack or SoC rerelease) and ended up repurposing it into the Toonami shelf

That's the Jehuty that came with the vector cannon. Honestly I forgot it came with the vector cannon since I've had it in storage for so long. I should probably try to pose my display around it, it's a nice looking piece.

And yeah the vic viper is really not fun to transform. Plus it kinda sucks that you have to swap out some parts to do it. It's such a slick design though.

If you do use the vc, have an extra stand or something to support for the ring. I left it sitting like that for like 7 years and the legs on jehuty gave out and is now looser than a whore. Im leaving the vicviper in plane mode right now next to my plane displays but the robot mode is infinitely nicer looking.

Not him, but I also own it and I'm sure the SoC is way more enjoyable. As a display piece the Max Gokin is great, but is not really all that fun to handle and the joints rubber covers cracked after just some month is just standing in a neutral pose.

I feel bad sometimes that I have thousands of dollars worth of mecha figures, many of which are holy grails, but don't really have the case space to articulate them. works keeps me so busy I need cases to keep them dust free. I could use a wider , open shelf instead but it'd invite dust and I hate dusting. I used to rotate figures on display but then I found I'd go years without opening a figure up.

I feel ya. My collection isnt quite as expensive as yours, but im a Gunpla guy that builds a lot of MG kits but damn is my space limited after dynamic poses. And since I paint/ do all the extras to make them look good I hate having too many on a shelf, because when its a cluster fuck its really hard to appreciate/ notice the work I put in. Im working on the MG Wing Zero EW ver ka and im thinking of using some fishing string on him to hang it from the roof due to lack of shelf space. Any other anons try something like that? Or just some type of clever way to display figures?

What I do is rotate my display every month, I only have about one detolf worth of space, everything else I keep in my loft. Helps me appreciate what I have more when I'm deciding what I want to put out. And if I haven't felt a desire to put something on display for a long time, I sell it.
