Appreciate the kudos. Honestly for the price I have no gripe about any of the features, however I will point out objectively, price aside, the heart rate monitor does leave something to be desired. Battery is awesome, lasts all day even when using the NFC feature multiple times and charge time is short. Other DIMs aren't necessary but they do expand the roster of Mons you can raise. In spite of my sarcasm they aren't too pricey either, unless you want one of the more exclusive ones like the Gacha DIM's or Shadow Howl.

It's fun but I never wore mine after I got what I wanted, Omegamon. Plus the max 2 Digis on one bracelet kinda took out the point in getting more DiM cards

part of the reason I got mine is to be more active, but once I discovered you can just farm vitals with battles or spoonfeed them vitals on the app it kind of ruined the fitness aspect of it for me because I end up just doing those instead of actually hauling my ass. If you can force yourself not to take the easy (lazy) option though it's good for fitness

(though despite that I still use and wear mine all the time, I love monster collecting, with or without it keeping me more active)

I never looked too deeply into these, though I'm interested, what exactly do you do on these? From what I understood from just kind of looking at these from afar, the DIM card is the monster you train and play with, is that not the case? Unless by collect you mean getting additional cards?

You can save digimon in the app. I think they give you 3 capsules to start. Transferring a digimon from a new dim for the first time gives you another capsule, limit 1 capsule per dim except otherwise stated, like GP dims give you 2 I think. You can also earn capsules from raid battles. The limit of how many digimon you can save depends on how many capsules you have.

storage capsule limits in the app are stupid and I'm hoping they'll start giving us more since iirc the tamers EX DiMs will give 3 capsules per card now

personally I just enjoy raising and collecting my favourite mons, I haven't run out of storage space for now but I've only raised a few digimon so far, I'll enjoy it until I run out of space I guess

You only get one extra capsule per card, so if you want to collect without killing or overwriting digimon you'll need to spend a fair bit of time grinding the raid bosses to get a <1000 ranking, which gives you one extra capsule. They do give them out occasionally though, like when they had some extended maintenance recently so they gave everyone a storage capsule as compensation.

This was an aspect of the VB that disappoints me as well. I thought the whole point was that your Digimon gets stronger when you actually do fitness stuff but anyone can buff up their mon in the app, making app battles just a rock/paper/scissors RNG match.
I think in the future they should include a breeding feature like in the Tamagotchi Meets. Not necessarily in that they get custom sprites but that different stats get passed down. It could encourage people to raise and reraise different Digimon to get the stats they want and would make the device something you actually use. As it is, the VB is just a means to eventually get the Digimon you want and then transfer them to the app. I think its been a month since I last used mine since I got Machinedramon.

It really sucks because before I got the app I was getting up early and going for runs or bicycling with my VB if they needed the vitals - but now I can just pop my digimon into the app and use +vitals items to max them out, so there's no motivator for actually using the fitness features now, except for step missions, which you can just do going to and from work, or wherever.

Granted I could still choose to do the extra exercise, but I'm a lazy ass that's always gonna pick the easier option if it's available to me and I'm sure 99% of people are the same

Best bet for Ancient Warriors DIM or the whole Ver. Special set up for the bracelet is probably eBay. I think Nin-Nin-Game has the ver Special bracelet in stock but its around $200. You can get the bracelet and some DIM packs you could resell for the same on eBay.

It doesn't start until next Sunday. I doubt it'll get a localisation but it should be simulcast by Crunchyroll. Would be surprised if it wasn't.

I honestly don't remember. Adventure's lore could get confusing. I think it's implied it spontaneously came into being and then created the Digital World and Digimon to enhabit it but like I said I really don't remember. Tri. was abundantly confusing and honestly I feel unfinished and then Last Evolution Kizuna doesn't really delve into that part of the lore and focuses more on the relationships of Tachi and Agumon and Yamato and Gabumon.

Savers fixed a problem Adventure had by giving every main character a Mega. Tamers did that too, IIRC, and learning from those two's example, they give every DigiDestined from Adventure (both in tri. and in Colon) Megas and even extend to using Omegamon's alt forms that are not Merciful. But can anyone give me a rundown of the Colon Partner Digimon's evo line changes?
Still, I wish they remake Runaway Locomon to add Sakuyamon's Miko Mode because of Ruki being the movie's focus. Or make it show up in the planned sequel movie.

Technically Neferti to Holydra was established in 02's Hurricane Touchdown which is why I didn't mention it above.

The other anon didn't mention pegasusmon, it was the go to form for Patamon for a few Eps and there were no digieggs. Most of alt forms there were basically one and done for an ep and never seen again. They also sized up many of the digimon which I think was done to make it easier for the kids to ride on them into battle.

Nice. What paints did you use? I'm assuming you disassembled first.
I've only painted/pen the cracks on the few I have. I want to get more to do a full shell repaint, but all my paint is packed up and in storage, aside from a few gundam pens.

Always disassemble yeah. I use mr hobby lacquers and tamiya acrylics depending on what colours i want. Everything is primed before hand with Mr Surfacer 1500 grey and left to cure for 24hrs before painting though.

Yeah. I airbrush lacquer onto it. The paint will crack and flake off at the bottom, but will be fine on the actual top of the button (the only parts you can see when assembled). Best to paint it, press it a bunch so you get all the flakes off, then reassmble. It'll stay unless you start digging your nails into the buttons a lot.

Well i had already had v1 pre ordered through PB usa and the first four cards
Plus the Ancient Warrior dim.
It's okay it sold out on hlj so the decision was made for me
