>>9322416To be fair it does look cool, and I actually have less trouble understanding someone wanting a super-detailed figure/statue of a cool robot than a monstrously expensive idol of some billionaire dressed in spandex. But I guess I'm in the minority in that as stupid as they were, I derived far more entertainment from the TF movies than what I've seen of the MCU. Especially the first one and Bumblebee, the latter of which was a genuinely good movie.
That said I've always found owning replicas of real people a bit creepy somehow. They fall hard into that uncanny valley problem, and even if the likeness is perfect it just seems weird to me.
