Those types of toys were usually always cheapshit redecos and retools, using the original base body and adding new shit to resell you the shit you already owned.
Back in the day, toylines released mountains of brand new characters, almost always made from brand new molds. And even when they reused the same character, it was a complete redesign and needed a new mold. Lots of effort was put into creating them.
So basically, OP's a newfag who thinks the era when toylines were being cheapshit are soulful, when in reality, they were milking him real good. Nothing but a cheap cash in.
