What are some toys you loved as a child and feel nostalgia for? Bonus points if you have any of them still. I remember getting this pic related jurassic park velociraptor at the KB toys at my local mall back in either 2005 or 2006

The entire episode 3 line, I remember seeing that in the theater when I was younger and getting a ton of figures and other episode 3 merch. Much better times, also the magnet knights and xevos. Going to the mall and buying what ever looked cool, I didn't get that thousand eyes restrict figure, instead got the skeleton pirate and that commando xevo instead.

I always though that was the coolest repaint because they colored the scars red like they were recent wounds.

For me it's the JP, TLW and JP3 lines. I have the entire line for all of them.

Agreed, that raptor is just so cool and im so glad that i managed to keep him after all these years. The fucking blood red scars on him made him look like a creature from that show primal

I got them as a kid, when they were new during the summer, my birthday or Christmas. So usually I didn't pay for them, but I did buy a few when I had the money.

I have the Demon from JPS2 and the Bone Breaker from TLWS1 with their Dino Damage pieces and capture gear. Plus I have the Hatchling that came with Dr. Snare from Series 2. I just picked up the Super Colossal Carnotaur recently, it's pretty cool. I'm hoping we'll get a Spino or full sized Compy one day.

I mean basically everything
but I got particularly good use out of my jurassic park T-rex and Utahraptor. they basically stood in for whatever zords I didn't have or any giant monsters or dinosaurs required for things, or when I made my red and green rangers mario and luigi and Utahraptor was their Yoshi..

Yeah thats the one i was referring too. I always thought it was one of the coolest JP dinos ever made but of course im not gonna shell out hundreds of dollars for it. Can you take a pic of him and post it if its not a big deal?

Hard to choose just one, but this guy may be it. For me, 1995 was the peak of Toy Biz Marvel stuff, with incredible XMen, XForce, Ghost Rider and Spider Man, Fantastic Four and Iron Man cartoon lineups. Lots of great figures.

I had a couple of the Toy Island ones from the series, including this bizarre space one. It felt like they were trying to be like Batman and have a Robocop for every occasion. I never could figure out why they replaced one of his arms with what looked like an armed missile.

Hasbro's Luke X Wing with sound, Luke dressed as a pilot and the Tie Interceptor. I should sell them so someone else enjoys them (I was planning to leave them for mi kids but not happening) but I don't know what price should be fair, some of the stickers in the X Wing are falling down, and the Tie is ok outside but the inside the cockpit everything is missing. Luke doesn't have his lightsaber anymore.

For some reason when I grew up and realiced the X Wing is not properly scaled (short wings) and the Tie is notI got pissed.

It depends on what you want.

For me it's any Kenner Rex.

Young for playing/battle damage/durable
Red for sculpt/proportions/electronics
Thrasher for color/proportions/articulated legs
Bull for size/eating gimmick/electronics

The Mattel ones aren't bad but the body proportions are terrible and the sculpt is inaccurate with the exception of the head sculpts which are more accurate than the Kenner Rexes.

Super Colossal is great, the other ones are fun but I prefer the rubber skin of the old figures.

It's a good figure rubber skin over internal mechanics like the Thrasher.

What's the best raptor?
There's so many. I can't tell you without, you narrowing down what you want in a Raptor figure.

Only if you want it. The skin patch makes them feel complete for me. I consider the capture gear an extra. I've never really had to think about it considering I have all of the pieces.

You should check out jptoys forum regarding ebay stuff. They can give you some good info.

I have come across a Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) toy collection, no boxes, just the figures.

Google says this is the Hokuto no Ken Fighting Chronicle Vol.1 (pic related) that a friend inherited. He wants to sell it to me, but neither of us can find what is supossed to be a fair price, I can't find it on sale online to compare. Can anyone give us a helping hand? We have no idea. They seem to be in a pretty good state, I feel like they are a little bit more shiny and slighty "stickier" than new ones would be but I have seen some figures be like that after very warm summers, so I don't think is that bad.

o god, these were a big part of my childhood, i had that big skull island and a ton of the knights, i did end up getting that big castle that was just a bunch of walls and towers, this was like the first wave of stuff so a long time ago now

Depends, primal rage had 2 toyline, the standard 4 inch figures and the “super rage series” of 12 inch figures that were both made of rubber and could eat mini sacrifices that came with them
