Not to mention this is how Peaugh became big back in 2007 or 2011, whichever that first Bayformer Optimus he got was. That review got tons of views and made him relevant. He continued to get TFs early and remained a highly viewed TF reviewer for a long time. Now he reviews things way after anyone else and his numbers are floundering.

Everyone wants to be first because that's where the views are. If they can't keep up with a kid whose parents probably have connections that's something they have to overcome on their own, whether that's by being interesting or having an opinion that people feel is worth listening to.

He’s probably bankrupting himself to try and become an e-celeb, I know how much those stolen samples change hands for and it would be unsustainable to review them regularly unless you had a main job with a good paycheque or your channel was doing huge numbers and fully monetised.

Nah, people tend to hate these guys because they act like they're big shots because they overpaid for stolen product. It doesn't help that they also tend to get the transformation wrong or give out a bad impression on a toy because they:

-Might be missing accessories
-Acrospires the toy shouldn't include
-Fuck up the transformation or post horrible pics that make the toy look terrible.
-They also have terrible opinions, but if I ever watch them, it's muted so I have no idea what they mean by that.
