I was more meaning for the figure. They'll probably release a different colorway of the armor with a katana in the future when they are added to the game then. No sense in making such a nice mold and not giving it more runs, probably with a new helmet.

Knife looks big enough to be removable too, and considering they already did it with noble 6 it's safe to say they'll probably reimplement it, which is something I always wanted with the McFarlane figures but Todd was too much of a pussy to do anything cool like that, plus the figures were probably too small anyways lol.

Yoroi and the one or two other ones from the leaks look pretty good. They give you something totally unique but are still very recognizably Halo. Especially when it comes to the toys, it gives you a lot of variety and has the potential to attract people who wouldn't otherwise be interested in Halo. I'm a bit worried they'll go too overboard with it though, if the MCC armors are any indication.

Have we ever gotten clarification as to how the weapon sizes got so fucked up? Don't they have access to the actual, official renders or at least some sort of footage from the games?

I think the weapons are sized for 6 inch figures, which a regular marine would be, which makes them seem too small for the the 7 inch spartans.
I'm pretty sure in game the weapon sizes also change depending on if a marine or a spartan is holding it.

I can only assume it's a byproduct of when these were in development. Jun's sniper looks to be mostly the same as the Infinite sniper rifle, which was also undersized.

Found Palmer and Six went I went to Gamestop to pick up Metroid Dread.

Pretty pleased with them overall, even if Six's new knees suck. Although they do seem a bit more gummy feeling than previous waves, but it's not something I'm bothered by.

Her torso and one of her hips was pretty loose, but I was able to fix that pretty easily by putting some paper towel in the ball joints to increase the friction. After that she was fine.

Had to do the same to Six too for his torso joint, actually.

Not him, but I've pretty much been using plastic wrap like that forever now. Usually the thin stuff they use to prevent paint transfer on imports or what the accessories are packaged in, but cutting a 1x1 piece out of a ziplock should do it too.

We've got the Arbiter coming, which I'm sure will then segue into a Covenant Collection.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't know too much about halo other than it's an FPS game set on superstructures where space marines fight aliens, but the designs look cool, and the toys are relatively inexpensive so why not? I feel like Noble Six's helmet (at least the default 'canon' appearance) is one of the exceptions. And should be the same shade of grey as the rest of his armor.

Though, if the version of Noble six we have now is intentionally supposed to be Thom instead. Then, well, fair enough.

Were the PAKs actually any good? My only experience with them is one of the mass effect ones, and the joints felt really bad. Like the ratchets were there, but there was so much flex between them it was impossible to stand. All their halo stuff looks really nice, though.

Probably. There's at least multiple pieces of art/renders where Six has the helmet attachment on him.

I’m sort of hoping that he looks more like what his concept art showed, where he looks more scarred/burned. It set him apart from the other monkey men. There releasing a H:CEA Chief in a two pack with an Infinite Chief in December and Halo 2 Chief right after that. Im hoping for a H2A and, or H3 Chief because I prefer the darker olive green over the shiny tinkerbell green in Combat Evolved and OG Halo 2. I think Locke’s potential as an underdog character was super wasted, along with a lot of premises in 5, but I really dig his armor. One of the few 4-5 armors I actually think looks good.

NIB $20-25 isn't a bad deal, although the H5 McFarlane figures are pretty damn meh and have absolutely abysmal articulation. And no he is like 4" so he'll be tiny compared to the 6.5s and scale better w the 3.75s, although he'll still be big compared to them. You're better off getting the Mattel Locke if you want something that scales closer to the Spartan Collection, but even then he'll be shorter.

Also, here's scale for McFarlane's last Halo figures. The entire line kept on scaling up over the years, likely because vehicles were no longer being made.

Also, yeh, I'd wait for Jazwares to make s omething. Maybe get McFarlane's for the odd weapon (only Reach+, because that's when they scaled up).

For another reference, this is about how the joint should look when plugged in, before putting the wrist cover back on (the cover just pops off if you wedge something flat under it and slowly push it off)

I just painted the Archetype 2.0s gray joint black with some Tamiya rattlecan and that was plenty for it to retain its color despite friction.

I also used a hand drill instead of a dremel but with the same mentioned bit size, for drilling into the hands.

This is a thing I've been working on with MarceloDavidCustoms on Etsy. At the risk of promoting him (though I don't get any money out of this, I just wanted an SPI kit to exist), kits like his ODST one will be popping on there later.

I'm really happy with how it turned out since no one has bothered to make even a minifig of SPI, let alone an articulated figure.

Mine should arrive in the mail in a few days and I'll have more pics to share then.

Same. I'm not a 3.75 collector, but the World of Halo stuff is just too good to ignore. It made me realize why 3.75" TVC fans are so upset about what Hasbro is doing to the line.

I am not a fan for how lime green they made Halo 2 Chief. At least for the Infinite version his armor is colored pretty brightly in game, but the Halo 2 version was far darker. Closer to how the Gamestop 2 pack one will be. I wish they threw Halo 2 Chief into that 2 pack instead of a repaint of Infinite. Still getting it for that bitching Mark V figure.

We've had to wait all this time for just these few non-Spartan figures and it seems like they're hesitant to do them in the first place.

Arbiter isn't even close to being as big as Chief, who is pretty much the face of Xbox. Hell, like >>9393528 said it's taken them this long to make non-Spartans at all, and if Arby sells poorly due to being the shitty H5 design they'll probably be turned off from doing more in the future.

The Arbiter is, like, the fan favorite character right behind Chief. Figures of him are in high demand in the aftermarket, even the Mattel figure of the H5 design.

It's deranged to think people won't buy him, even if it's a less popular iteration of him. It's still the Arbiter. If the toy is good then folks won't be picky, they'll just say "hey can we get the other versions too"

Are the 3 3/4" World of Halo figures any good? I quite liked the idea of getting a bunch of figures and vehicles, and if they're the same size as other 3 3/4" lines then that's a bonus.

Finally picked up Kat and she is simultaneously the best and worst figure. Probably the best paint and detail on any of the ones I have and the spartan laser looks great but the face sculpt is bad and while mine has the back peg the waist is loose like most. Never gonna display without helmet though so don't care about the other headsculpt.
