It could work.
Supaidaman crossed over with Kamen Rider V3 in a magazine story who has appeared in various super sentai team up films that contain both Go-Onger and Magiranger as well as Megaranger who in their Power Ranger incarnation teamed up with the Next Mutation version of the TMNT.
The Thing has teamed up with Spider-Man various times too.
The only one that's hard to connect is Shrek.

I honestly don't understand why Shrek is always in these outside of just being a popular character and that's it. He makes no sense thematically. He's not a superhero, but bootleggers just keep lumping him in with them.

Those sets were made around the 2000s and are aimed at kids. Superheroes have always been popular with them, same with Power Rangers and TMNT.
Shrek is a outlier now but at the time he was a marketing machine, the first two films were popular and Shrek's face was plastered on every product imaginable so he was instantly recognisable to any child.
