Zemo, Cap, and Iron Man are the big ones for me. I wish Iron Man had the metallic gold of the 80th one though. Zemo looks a little underwhelming but I’m glad we’re getting a classic one. Kinda wish they’d just gone all in on using the Red Skull body but he has some decent new parts at least.

My eyes glazed over the MCU movies generally look boring to me anyway and there’s been so many Caps… I don’t even know if this ones different in any way.

Couldn’t give less of a shit about packaging, the show holds little nostalgia for me despite being a fan when I was a kid and I just flat out dislike cel-shaded figure designs. I guess it’s nice they went the extra mile for the little portrait… I don’t care but I’m sure a bunch of fans will cream themselves over the ability to replicate their favorite little meme.

Wish it was metallic to go with the previous one. I don’t think the mustard/ketchup Iron Man looks good outside of comics. Still getting it, along with 80th Cap because I like the Tony head and the horned face armor is a favorite of mine.

Eh, it makes sense, Wolvie is the most popular X-man and an easy seller. Especially with his meme accessory. Jubilee is also an easy choice as she was only released once and was a focal point of the show.

A lot of the X-men from this show were a pain to get, so hopefully most of em see a release like this. Especially Jean and Beast, the former for being exclusive to a three pack and the latter because of new accessories in show colors.

Punisher Custom anon and anyone else curious about dyeing figs with Rit, I'm super happy with the results so far. Dyeing a lot more stuff right now.

Just make sure you get the Dyemore Synthetic dye, I tried regular yesterday and it looked more like a wash on the red boots.

Outside of letting the rapper guy babble on for too long (though he did seem to genuinely be excited by the figure he was revealing) and talking about the awful movie stuff, I thought the Joe panel was fantastic. They came out with a lot of great reveals, talked a lot about the process and ideas about creating the figures, made sure to present them all in those fantastic dio pics and generally seemed to actual care about the product itself. The mandatory marketing person was mostly inoffensive, the rest of the panel were pretty good at articulating their thought processes without coming off as super awkward, what they showed off was actually *good* and they kept the focus on the toys themselves for most of the run time.

Usually it's the Marvel Panel that runs the best, but this one just dragged on, probably because they didn't seem to have much to reveal. But from all the panels I watched, the Joe one was easily the best.

I'm sad that I don't really want anything but happy my wallet gets an extended break. The Wolverine is nice but I've already bought Tiger Stripe Wolverines enough times, already have Jubilee. Already have a good enough Cap and Iron Man, don't even collect movie stuff. Shelf space is limited so I'm not going to pick up many of the C and D list people unless they're an actual want like Arcade was for me. Of course it will be a deluxe. The 80th Hulk is a huge figure so he will absolutley be a little more expensive. Hopefully they keep it around a $10 increase and don't get crazy. Fox wanted to kill an X-Men in the pilot episode for shock value and used Morph (who was a reformed X-Men villain in the comics named Changeling that only appeared in a couple of stories) instead of Thunderbird because no one cared about Changeling, as far as him being a literal who and the fact that he was killed off by Roy Thomas off-panel, when editorial demanded he bring Xavier back after killing him off.

But here is the thing: NO ONE, Fox Kids included, expected people to freak out over Morph and wanting to know more about him.

So when season two came along, they brought Morph back via Mr Sinister stealing his corpse and resurrecting him and having him be part of his group of evil mutants. They even did a Wolverine/Morph fight episode as a b-plot for one season two episode with Morph beating Logan and gave him a redemption and then bringing him back so he could have closure to his arc by having him overcome his fear of the Sentinels and dying at their hands by having him single handedly destroy Master Mold.

And his popularity on the show was so great, Marvel created a new look version of him in Age of Apocalypse, who elevated the character to even more heights that they had Judd Winnick create a copy of the AOA version who came from a normal X-Men timeline where Morph not Beast became an Avenger and a big time celebrity, then finally Bendis (in his full-on pandering mode) created ANOTHER version of Morph who was a young college student who got expelled for being a mutant and joined Cyclop's alt-right X-Men squad and later got made into a member of Gen X.

So yeah, he's super popular and someone people WANT to be made in terms of the XM:TAS version being a top requested figure

Very nice, but how hard would it be to make it yellow? I’ve heard it’s very hard to recolor soft plastic like that. I’m looking to make a Dead By Daylight Trickster custom. Fox Kids and Marvel used Morph as a dead hero walking in the X-Men cartoon but brought him back to life because fans liked him a lot in the two episodes he was in.

But because the character he was based on died a pretty definitive death via retcon, Marvel couldn't bring Morph back for synergy. So they have spent the last coupe of decades using variations, the most notable one being the Age of Apocalypse version, who was killed off at the end of the storyline. When Exiles launched, they introduced a new Morph who looked just like the Age of Apocalypse version but had a different backstory. This version was around for a decade; they tried killing him off at the end of the Exiles run by having Proteus kill and possess his corpse as a host but had to reverse his death due to fan outcry.

The most recent version was Bendis's version but he hasn't been seen since the mid-00s Generation X revival, which implied he was a closet homosexual.

Morph's pretty popular and his figure probably would sell decently.

Apparently the front of the Iron Man helmet is just glued on with the blue eyes painted on behind that. So you might be able to heat the head up and soften the glue then repaint and reassemble.

I don't think Hasbro is going to put in THAT many Daredevils in a single wave. I'd cut the Affleck DD intierly, and personally I'd change out the Black Netflix outfit for the Man Without Fear Homemade suit. I just like the looser sweat pants and hoodie look better.

A Matt Murdock would be cool, but honestly I'd rather get like a 2 pack of him and Foggy. They have made weirder 2 packs so I don't think that is out of the quesiton. I think we could use a new Elektra based on either her recentish appearance or the older Man Without Fear design.

I like that Bullseye but honestly I think the last one was perfect in terms of the classic Bullseye look. If we get a new one I'd be good with his current design.

Mr. Fear, Echo and Tombstone are all good along with an updated Daredvil, either full classic or modern.

Just the head size. I get that its a helmet but It always felt to bulky. Everything else about the figure is great IMO. I really wish we could get an update on the Marvel Now Cap it was a damn good design, probably one of my favorite upodates, but the paint apps were bad. Like applied badly. The red and white stripes started rubbing off the moment I used his ab crunsh when I got it and the rest of them were just applied really sloppy. And something about his feet felt like he had flat clown shoes on or something.

I wish after Tony's death Pete decided that he'd be better off not utilizing Starks brand of suits and went on to make a more classic suit on his own. Maybe at most incorporate the glasses into his new suit. If the Iron-Spider armor actually looked decent it wouldn't be a big issue but it just looks gaudy.

Hell it's made of fucking nanotech. He could make it look like the normal style suit all he wants. Really hoping that by the end of NWH, or the start of his next appearance, he's donning a more classic style/color suit.

The silver and blue in your pic looks better but I still dislike the overall design of the spider. My guess is they want him wearing this symbol for whenever Venom eventually goes on him so Venom steals the design for himself.

I just wish they’d done the same colors as the recent Modular suit. I want my iron men in gold and red, not yellow and red. It’s fine to get a classic suit like AI Iron Man with black under the helmet and a yellow arc reactor, but otherwise stick to gold and red.

I thought the gold on the Modular was a bit too dark. The shade they did on the 80th is perfect imo. But yeah I agree. I'm not a fan of the red and yellow. The hot rod red and gold just look so much better irl.

Yes and no.
Yes in that new molds will be pinless, but no because Hasbro will use all the old bodies and don't seem interested in making new pinless limbs for existing bodies. So until a replacement for each body is made, as is finally happening with Bucky Cap, pinned joints will be around for a the foreseeable future.

You can tell what characters they like because they will intro hidden pins for them. The designers are playing favorites and doing this weird mix of pinned and pin-hidden figures now, and its really offputting. They should just go full pin-hidden rather than putting out deficient product that doesn't blend with their new offerings

I know it's not much of Hasbro's thing, but i miss getting actual scenery backgrounds with the figures.

I'm gonna be pissed if Armadillo's buck isn't largely reused for Litterbug.
Actually, I'm going to be double pissed if I have to track down Armadillo's body parts in a year or two because they stick a litterbug headswap into a different Morlock's package as an accessory.
