Aeris was just a wrong romanization of Earisu, as the correct way to romanize it is Aerith according to Square. On the other hand, changing Tina for Terra was a conscious decision of the translator, not an error. They are completely different cases.

That's true only if there's no intended way of romanizing it. Square says it was always intended to be written as Aerith, so that's the correct way.

Anything is an improvement over Play Arts, but yes Bring Arts is a good line. Most of the figures are either good or at least acceptable. The main issue tends to be the price tags, but that depends on how much you think any given character is worth to you.

Maybe it's a mix of the spiky hair and the minimalist but perfectly balanced amount of detail that gives him a really iconic look. If you think about it the colors are pretty jarring but for some reason they really work.

Bring Arts started to improve after a while. Their first releases were still pretty shit, but nowadays they're like figmas with worse QC and ridiculous prices. Expect some joints to be more loose that you would like and some minor cosmetic problems, but if you absolutely love the game AND action figures, they are good to have. If you don't fulfill both conditions just don't bother because no matter how much they still improve, their prices will always be a rip-off.

Also, I'm surprised there's not really any FFVII BA party members aside from Kingdom Hearts Cloud and Sephiroth. There's Play Arts version of the party members but I really don't care for Play Arts scale.

I have a decent amount of the Kingdom Hearts ones.Terra, ven, aqua, xion, kairi, axel.

Theyre mostly nice but some have some shitty qc and brittle joints. I'm outraged at the price for these though. Figuarts are $40 -$60 for comparable size and accessories and these start at like $80 min for a normal size character. Not to mention the after market.

The only reason i bite is cause i literally dreamt of characters like the wayfarer trio for years. One other benefit and is that you can kind of mix and match to make frankestein characers. Like you can take the hooded head from xion and put it on axel to make a generic nobody or master of masters if you want. I also recently got terra and put the xehanort head and no name keyblade on him to make it like a young xehanort.
