Their PoL is a good service, for example, but an Origins figure at $25 is still $10 more than retail, which is absurd when retail is $15. I think that's what anon was implying. I'm just about immediately turned off by shopping at a store if they are overcharging (depending by how much and the size of the store too, I guess) as well.

Got out to Target early this morning. I think they may have just restocked some of their MOTU stuff. Got an Origins Wind Raider, then from Masterverse I got: He-man, Skeletor, Skelegod, Battle-cat and Faker. Hadn't seen the Faker set in person before. Went ahead and ordered Moss Man and Evil-Lyn, as well as pre-ordering waves 2-4. Watched Revelation this morning, ended up really liking it besides Teela. Like, what happens if there is minimal stock flowing in? It spreads throughout Cali and into nearby states, then nothing for anyone else? Okay, now what if the next shipment of that same product is similarly small, do they once again fill up all those other brick and mortar establishments, even though those stores already received a first order, meanwhile there's none left over for any states past a certain geographic area? This is something about distribution I don't have a great understanding about: do they just keep restocking those same stores/states if limited stock continues to flow through, because with the supply chain totally fucked and rumors of ongoing factory operation disruptions, you could have a scenario where product doesn't make it farther east INDEFINITELY. What I like you am wondering is if say Cali store orders 4 cases, do ships keep distroing to that store until it gets its 4 before cases will leave Cali and start going eastward. I'd be interested to know the answer to that. My suspicion is they will just short the stores if they know they have limited stock and just start feeding it slowly east even if Cali stores only got say half their order. But that's just my suspicion.

Genies are an archetype MotU has always lacked and would be a fun inclusion.
Your pic and the evil wizard just make me imagine an alternate universe where Panthor is a girl and Keldor's love interest instead of Evil-Lyn.

>>9423467 I have an android phone and googled the apk file for older versions. You will need to uninstal the WM app currently. Activate aiplane mode on your phone and install the WM apk file. Start the app until you get to the Start shopping screen and the barcod shows up on the search bar. Deactivate airplane mode and scan an item, change store to your current city. Sometimes the app will tell you to update while the scanner is activated, just press back and the scanner should come back on. Unfortunately you will have to repeat the process everytime you want to use the app as it will stop and force you to update.

Sun Man, Anti-Eternia He-Man, Horde Trooper and Clawful is going to be a weird wave. Imagine the mini-comic. SKELETOR: The Horde is invading from Etheria at the same time as an evil He-Man from a parallel universe! Now's our chance to invade Castle Grayskull while He-Man is distracted... Clawful! SUN MAN: Hi, I'm Sun Man! What planet is this?>He-Man asks him to go intercept Skeletor and Clawful

>>9423603 >>9423608 He’s not _bad_ but looks like he needs a lot of work (GID paint, cloth skirt and better cape).
I’m enjoying my $15 Faker so far, and Scareglow was the only Revelations figure that I wanted…so maybe I’ll just get it anyway.

>>9423608 Why are they so fucking cheap on the glow for Masterverse this is a disgrace to the Scare Glow name and lineage.
Anonymous
>>9423803 Because Masterverse kinda sucks. I was hoping the engineering issues would have been worked out by wave 2, but I have Beastman and he still has weirdly tight/frozen joints and uncomfortable to articulate hips where the peg has more give than the peg hole.

>>9423832 I only wanted Moss-Man and he's great. I might get Stinkor I haven't decided. Otherwise the line doesn't do much for me.

I’m more into the Origins line anyway, so these Revelations figures are something I’d only ever pick up on clearance in the first place.

>>9423846 Moss-Man has the least problems for me, too. Skeletor and Beast Man both have VERY iffy hips, and Lyn has what are essentially single elbows because each one only has one reliably working joint, which isn't even consistent between arms. Thinking about it, He-Man and Skeletor have that issue too. I'll still get Man At Arms and Stinkor because they're my favorite Masters, though. And those New Eternia HM and Skelly because those designs rule ass.

So... you think in 2022 Mega Construx will actually give us Orko as well as Anti-Eternia He-Man, Clawful, Whiplash, Buzz-Off, Webstor, Ninjor, Ram Man, Zodak and pink Teela (as shown at Powercon 2020)? We can expect Snake Mountain to come with 6 figures, which would take a big chunk out of that list, at the cost of having no coherent theme (as opposed to He-Man, Skeletor and Snake Men).

>>9423032 Masterverse figures circulating have occasionally been having more than their price would typically justify across the market. Evil Lyn early was 20 for a 7 inch pinless figure with 4 alt hands and 3 accessories. Compare that to a Marvel Legend and it dwarfs it, it even dwarfs a McFarlane at that price since it has more accessories than usual. I actually got Skelegod for 25 from Walmart and that figure was huge with nice extra hands and accessories.
The reason why they started out so cheap may have been due to wanting to get people into the line. This level of value may not remain but they had an incentive to be able to pass the value onto the consumer at the start at least to get them to get a few masterverse figs to "buy into" the line. We'll see if it continues. I know some people have issues with the sculpt on the head for Skeletor and the Heman body though.

>>9424128 At this point, you need to write off MCX if you're treating it as a figure line. It's not. They don't care about character selection. The only value of mcx is in its construction sets.
