Would anyone be upset if SS86 Megatron was a heavily retooled Siege or Earthrise figure that turned into a tank, and came with a gun that your Starscream figure could hold and you could just pretend was his gun mode? Not just that, everything looks too simplistic to me. I feel like WFC struck a really good balance between G1-inspired aesthetics while keeping things freshened up, as well as a really good balance between everything having just the right amount of detail without being over-designed.

I don’t think they did kiddify it, the only really kiddie looking figure is Arcee and that’s because she’s just designed really poorly. All the other figures look in line with WFC to some degree. As long as the engineering is still WFC levels, which I assume it is due to bulkhead and dragstrip, I’m fine
