>>9439822You couldn't have gotten interested at a better time, there's two lines running concurrently, one is called Kingdom, which has a huge emphasis on Beast Wars, and the other is called Studio Series 86, which is all about those original movie characters.
If you're feeling more Beast Wars, I could recommend Megatron, as he's just a great update to the original figure from the 90s and the amount of articulation he has in dino mode is pretty unparalleled in a Transformer. This guy is always a fan favorite, and even if you're not into TFs, or BW in general, if you have any remnant in your mind that remembers what it was like to be a kid, you're going to enjoy a big purple T-Rex that turns into a fucking robot.
If you're leaning more towards the OG movie, I just don't think you can beat SS86 Hot Rod. If you want to be impressed by the engineering on a figure, this it. It is probably the best likeness of Hot Rod, it has fantastic possibility, has everything fold away really solidly in both modes, the transformation is incredible, he's kitted out with really fun accessories and features that reference specific scenes, he's just a grand slam of a figure.
Both would be really solid choices, come back and post some pics if you decide to pull the trigger on those or any others.
