christmas is in 5 weeks homie, people are buying things, of course they're going to go out of stock. also the entire past year and a half things have stayed out of stock longer and sold out quicker because of supply issues.

I wish I understood why marvel get 2000 sets and DC gets nothing. I'm not meming; I know Marvel puts out 3-5 movies a year and now we have tv shows on top of that but Harry Potter is getting sets and when's the last time it got a movie? A full decade ago. When is the last time Mickey was in anything that wasn't Kingdom Hearts? And yet there they are, getting sets. Is WB being stingy with the license and only letting them do Batman?

Probably more. Stuff like the Cosmic Treadmill might be something like a Polybag or a 10 dollar set max but at least you can say you've done it. Credit where credit is due, there is one Braniac Ship set, two lex Luthor Power Armors, 1.5 Invisible Jets (A side build and a Mighty Micro) and Green Lantern themed space ship, but it isn't a construct so idk why they bothered. I know all trans green might not have worked but the set is mostly black, so who knows what happened there

I really like their dragon sets. So, having bought a bunch of dragon sets, I ended up with a bunch of the minifigures. And since I got bored and like to buy mechs, I built mech MOCs for each member. I had a bunch of the weapons and ninjago specific pieces because the dragons usually come with a side build or two. Since I never put side builds together, I had a ton of spare pieces to use in the MOCs. I've honestly tried to get I to the show, but I just can't for some reason.

Really? Why? For me, I wouldn't want it if I didn't have the Ninjago City set to pair next to it. Standalone it's not as cool. That aesthetic is fairly particular compared to the upscaled classic town feel of modulars, much harder to mesh with random city stuff. Cool set but hard to place randomly.

Has anyone ever had a major fuckup on their Bricks and Pieces order? I have placed several large orders over the previous year and they are always about 98% accurate.

Recently I placed an order that shipped on 11/04. Usually my Bricks and Pieces orders arrive no longer than 10 days to arrive after they ship.

Today I received an envelope which seemed very light for the large order I placed. I ordered 116 different lots, and only 25 arrived. The list that comes with the order appears to show the parts in sequential order by the Warehouse Location number. I only received the parts starting at the 91st lot and through the end of the list.

I emailed Lego and hopefully they will just re-ship the whole order. Has anyone else had this experience or one like it?

I actually just picked this up at my local LEGO store when I saw it sold out on S@H. It's the only modular I didn't have and the first that really didn't appeal to me on a few levels. I just didn't like the way it looked and I already had built a nice MOC - Shell gas station / car wash for my city. I bought it regardless thinking I might regret it as I have all the others. Of course I might not build it or heavily modify it into something else. I also have the police station and assembly still NIB. Space is always an issue when you are a city builder. I'd rather MOC and be creative.

consider getting like drawers with large flat trays. being large and fat makes it easy to look for pieces, and you don't have to have as many catagories

Oh boy, in case you're thinking about buying the Shang Chi dragon be aware: there's a seriously shitty connection in the build that surprisingly (actually, not really surprising by now) wasn't caught.
Those two joint sub-builds in step 26 and 27 that later connect the front of the dragon to the center of the body are only secured by two studs each which means that with each movement of the joints the studs dislocate more and more to the point where the whole front of the dragon will come off.
Hell, they already slightly dislocate due to gravity and from the weight of the front alone and you don't even have to manhandle the thing for it to happen.
A minor tweak you can do is to shove the spare friction pin inbetween them so the force will be more evenly distributed when moving the joints which now will move more in tandem, reducing the possibility of the front falling off.

The sets were weird, seemed marketed at kids as playsets instead of display models for collectors, i didnt like it cause I would have preferred some warcraft sets, hell I’d even have bought starcraft lego overwatch is so meh
