Anyone else here a hoarder? I have too much stuff that i dont want or have room for anymore. I dont know what to do because ive never selled shit on ebay before. Anyone got any tips on what i should do?

As for selling, eBay is the easiest way to do that and is simple enough to navigate, but you're gonna get hit with some fees. Though if you have a bunch of shit just collecting dust it is still going to be some money in your pocket you didn't have before.

Look at sold/complete listings for the toy your looking for. Sometimes it's better to sell lots worth you can fit in one of those flat-rate shipping boxes.

See if you have a book, records, collectible store that buys stuff off you, but they're known for lowballing you unless you care

Not OP, but this describes my current collecting problems perfectly. I have ALOT of figures that I buy and never open. And I'm not one of those MIB collectors either. I used to get a "high" from buying figures, but that high is getting less and less and I hate myself more and more from doing it. How do I stop?

It’s a challenge to keep up with the lines that I collect. It’s either they keep cranking out more figures, some of them are exclusives, or they are in high demand and hard to find. What’s the point?

I’m in the process of a sell off. Stuff that is in storage and stuff I actually have out on display that I’m not super excited by.

I can report I’m enjoying it. I’ve used the money and freed up display space to start a new collection and add wall art and buy other unrelated stuff I’m using. I turned some g1 transformers I had in a bin into a ccm jet speed High end hockey stick I use twice a week.

I’m enjoying the less clutter in my storage area. I’m enjoying feeling not quite so glutenous. I css as k honestly say I don’t miss a single thing I’ve sold.

Also shf mcu figures have trash resale value

I'm an obsessive nerd so I have to open every figure carefully and store the cardback, so that pile of unopened figures is pretty daunting. First world problems but it's one of the reasons I'm that close to selling the lot and just sticking to minifigures.

Once you're down to like 20 toys or whatever- basically no more than can fit on a single shelf and a desk or something, anytime you buy a new thing sell an old one.
