1. As other anons have indicated, high-quality toys when high-quality plastic is becoming increasingly scarce
2. Surprising features in the engineering. Pic related is from the Biklonz line; notice that the combiner in the top of the image doesn’t stand out all that much from something from the Power Rangers line, aside from maintaining crazy high articulation for a combiner figure; but notice the lower figure—a combiner where two robots each provide the OPPOSITE arm and leg in a diagonal cross combination, without sacrificing articulation/posability, and while maintaining the capability for those figures to become symmetrical arms for the even larger gestalt combiner.
That’s a lot of thought and engineering for a set of children’s toys.
