Dr. Wu said that in Jurassic World to cover the inaccurate, uncreative, juvenile designs. When Jurassic Park was made, it pushed the public towards actually liking dinosaurs and seeing them as advanced animals. Now when I see Carnotaurus running around or any of the NPC elephant lizard herbivores, or Rexy roaring to recapture the sense of wonder of the first film... it falls flat.
If they're being intentionally inaccurate to have movie monsters, I find that unappealing. People come to these movies to see dinosaurs, and the general public has no reason to suspect that the dinosaurs are chimaeras.
Also, so the dinosaurs are admixed with other animals and we never see a dinosaur that looks like it; they look like inaccurate, simplified, shitty chinese toys.
