I want to start getting some monster stuff, always LOVED the classic movies, but I’ve never been able to find a set I particularly click with. I think these AHI monsters are nearly exactly what I want (minus the Mummy, who I think looks kinda shit), but god they’re expensive. Are there any reproductions of them people know of? I just love their designs but no care about hav8ng vintage stuff

Have you looked at modern Mego? They're much nicer and around $20 I think. The YouTube channel Brick Mantooth is a big fan of AHI stuff and might be a good resource for you.

This. The Mego Universal Monsters seem pretty similar (especially with the soft goods). There are two other toy companies making Universal Monster figures currently. One is NECA and the other escapes my mind. Anyway, there are other options out there.

The new Mego monsters are GREAT, especially Creature, and the Hammer stuff is great as well

I love the Super7 ReAction figures too.

Seconding the opinions favoring Mego, but for what it's worth I'm also extremely happy with Jada's latest wave of Universal Monsters if you're looking to possibly skew closer towards figures and not larger scale dolls. They're somewhat imperfect depending on what priorities you weigh over others, but I was extremely happy to get ahold of a Count Dracula with Lugosi's actual likeness, and I was particularly surprised how nicely Frankenstein and The Bride shook out, especially compared to NECA's Frankenstein which seemed hard to compete with.

I also have fond memories of the diorama sets Jakks Pacific churned out for the likes of Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Wolf Man, but considering what's beginning to hit the market now they're probably not worth it unless for the background sceneries they come with.

Not that anon, but having gotten him a few months ago, I am quite happy. First time in a while buying an action figure where the joints just work, shockingly better poseability than I expected, and a nice amount of accessories.
