You have to remember that the idea of keeping things "MIB" comes from mass production toys, in which unboxed examples are plentiful while boxed ones are very rare. Sofubi- especially sought after ones- are already rare, so just getting one in any sort of state is generally hard enough.
I know when I buy second hand, I like to have the card but its not a make or break for me.

I mean theoretically if you just bend the staples up on one side, you could remove the card from the bag and then remove the sofubi. Then you could store the card and bag together and carefully repackage the figure if you ever wanted to sell him.
